No, this system is not designed for that purpose. I contacted iSpring as we have an Under Sink Water Filter System for our drinking water. Nick said it could be because of the chlorine and other chemicals in the water. Nick was right. We were in a dilemma whether to buy the traditional system of this one. Finally we decided to buy this. Installation was very easy. We had a plumber come and install it for us in 2 hours. If you have some plumbing experience I am sure you can do it yourself. This is a great system. I am on a well for the first time and build a complete ispring system with this unit preceded by their spin down and 5 micron filter then this unit followed by a 3 system and UV. System has worked flawlessly for 5 year. Very easy to install. You just need a method for the self filter clean when it ejects some water. I bought ispring’s WSP100ARB Spin Down Sediment Filter, WCF200K Whole House Filter, WCS45KG Whole House Filter, UVF55FS Whole House UV Filter. After installing the system, water quality improved significantly — hardness is gone, mineral content is much lower, and it’s clearly protecting our appliances. Lab tests before and after confirm the softener is working as expected. What really stood out was the customer service. Francis was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, patient, and went out of their way to help me over email. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure customers are taken care of. The I spring WCF. M 400k Works very well to take iron and magnesium. Out of the water at our well Because we have a lot of iron four 21/2 years .1 day it's start leaking. So I took it apart and found there was a crack in the threads of the head and I guess it eventually started leaking through that. My water was treated with so much stuff that I could smell the chlorine when I ran hot water. This filter reduced it so much I can barely taste any chlorine just one day after installation. 1 year warranty when you register, mine came with a card for a 3 year warranty free. Registering the warranty was a little confusing though, the website didn't even specify to provide a serial or model number but they will email you after and are quick to respond. ... show more

Ispring lists these on Amazon for a low price and doesn’t follow through with shipping. I will not buy another Ispring product if this is how they treat there customers. We ordered at the beginning of August only to have our order refunded by them here within the last day or two on Sept 5th an entire month later. Yet their site will ship to me in 5 days or less for a $400-500 more markup. Poor service by a greedy company. ... show more
