This was a great deal. Ballast came with the igniter and it came was a 2 set package. I only needed to replace 1 side and was not sure if it was the ballast ( I thought it was) or the igniter. They work great. The wires are mostly protected by the silver fabric sleeve. Similar to braided lines. Awesome. Direct replacement on my 05’ Acura TL.

Pretty simple install. All that's really needed is a 10mm deep socket with a little extension, a philips screwdriver and a flathead to remove clips if you dont have the proper trim tool. Removal of the bumper is required for the TL. Product fit perfectly and works great.

    • They work!
For 2004 Acura TL (3G.) I was a bit skeptical at first and the ballast pictured did not match what I received. (which is why four instead of five stars.) This is not a Mitsubishi Electric ballast. Fitment is also slightly different than the existing ballasts. On the factory unit there is a raised ring around the connector on the top of the unit where the igniter connects which allows the included rubber cap to seal the connector. It doesn't exist on this unit so I couldn't cap off the connector. I don't think it's going to be an issue, since the gasket on the bottom of the headlight assembly seals the entire unit. But that said, they both fired right up and lit my new OSRAM D2S bulbs and I'm back to driving at night after reassembling my bumper. Generally easy install, connectors all fit well including the igniter, solid "click" into place. I'm very pleased with initial results. Time will tell as to the longevity, I'll update if my experience changes but for now everything's good! ... show more

Great quality product so far. Doesnt come with mounting screws either reuse original screws or get new ones but make sure you test fit first.
