The California Umbrella is easy to assemble and deploy. It's gets to be a little hard to crank to go into tilt mode, but not bad. I've only had the umbrella couple months and used it maybe 15 times. We'll see how it holds up. So far, so good.

I am 59 and when I went to go and tilt the umbrella, it was too high even on tippy toes I couldn’t reach it. It’s such a poorly design umbrella that I’m returning it
