Some of the excellent features of this unit-- Very light weight and easy to move, compact and foldable for fast, simple storage.... and yet... produces a powerful little kick of heat. I do recommend it.... especially, if you need something to heat your feet and legs while you lounge outside during cold temps (or reading at a table) .... perfect for those applications❣️✅ Emits a nice amount of heat for a small unit. The price is great too. I just hope it endures the winter ? Personally, I'm using the infrared space heater for my two cats when they like to go outside in the cold weather (underneath a covered patio area that opens to the backyard). They have two elevated kitty cots with furry, self warming, bed pads on top and pillows. I placed this heater in front of their two raised cots and it seems to be working nicely. It removes the chill from the air around them. I do NOT recommend this space heater for someone who has a hyper little kid or a spastic dog ! However, IF you have a calm, well behaved child and/or older dog... this heater would be ideal positioned about 14 to 16 inches from the bed area in very cold temps. PLEASE NOTE- You do have to be fairly close to the unit to really enjoy the warmth, but again, if you are lounging, reading, texting, sleeping... perfect ! Keep it out of the wind and obviously... far enough away from any type of fabric or flammable materials. As mentioned... so far, this has been a pleasant experience, it is a very efficient heater for close proximity applications.

I never cared for the fan driven spaceheaters, when I'd step out of the shower the moving air made me chilly. Won't happen with this radiant heater.
