    • Lots of assembly. Tedious protective plastic removal.
Puts off good amount of heat. Construction is solid enough… good stability with tank attached. Lots of assembly required. Biggest complaint was very tedious removal of protective plastic film from the reflector sections. Each were probably intended to be pulled off easily in a one piece, but they tended to shred and it took me about 30 minutes to remove them all. Ironically, under these protective sheets were tons of scratches from manufacturing! To be fair, this was purchased in 2020 and not assembled until 2022, so perhaps when the film was newer it would have been more easily removed. ... show more

    • Sets Up Well, Plenty of Heat - Wish I Didn't Pay Double
Took my time and was able to put it together in a couple hours. Feels sturdy but you do need to be careful with the post so it doesn't bend and it would have been a real plus if it had wheels. To move it around I have to take out the propane tank. It's a nice looking device. If I could have gotten it from Home Depot I would have paid half. The price is currently $248 which is nearly $100 less than I paid. I get it though....people, restaurants and other businesses have been buying these like crazy due to covid and the need to spend more time outside so the laws of supply and demand were/are working against me. Due to covid and our youngest volunteering for brick and mortar teaching we needed a way to have weekly family dinners outside in the cold. We took two patio tables and have the heater in the middle of the tables and it gets toasty out there around the tables. A couple more feet away from the tables and it's too cold. We do have two walls providing some buffer from the wind which helps. We've had 6 dinners outside, spend about 2 hours for each and noticed that on the last dinner the propane was getting low and the heater wasn't able to keep up like before. Will be getting another tank for the next dinner and see if that causes the heater to heat as well as before. ... show more

    • Great Heater for cold nights
It takes a lot to get me to write a review for endorsement so this heater is good thing! First, ye sit is more expensive on Amazon than Home Depot or Lowes but in the mist of COVID these are hard to come buy and Home Depot and Lowes have been sold out for months. SO I sucked it up and paid double the price! Well worth it! My husband and son easily assembled the heater, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS for turning on and using! I read several reviews and I think if people followed directions they would not have had the issues they were reporting wit the heater. I also purchased the Sweet Heat heat deflector and it works like magic! Totally deflect all the heat the direction you want and you can feel it from a good 5-10 feet away. We used it tonight 36º and I am always cold I sat next to the heater a couple feet away my husband was getting warm and sat a little further. Now we did have it turned up all the way bc I wanted to be warm, but how awesome to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and be warm! I am considering purchasing another one bc our deck is large and may want one on the other end. It does get hot, but duh, it is a propane heater it is going to get hot, common sense goes s along away when using these contraptions :) ... show more

I bought two heaters. One of the heaters arrive later that promised and with a BIG dent. Since I need for a party the next day couldn't returned it. Also, be aware that it doesn't not have wheels.

I liked this item for the time it worked. We paid $100 more for it during 2020 due to shortage. Less than 1 year later, it will not work. We are asking for a refund or replacement and so far, we are not getting positive feedback from the seller. If we cannot repair, we are out of $300 and have no patio heater: This is the 1st time I have had a negative problem with something bought on Amazon. ... show more

    • Super Nice Patio Heater
We bought this to put on our back porch so we could use it during the winter. I can now sit out on the porch, smoke a cigar and watch football - all while staying warm. I did also purchase the Sweet Heat deflector to help focus the heat on areas I wanted to rather than heating the backyard ! The only negative (and this applies to all heaters) is that it goes through some propane. I can usually get about six to seven hours out of a FULL can of propane. I say FULL only because I have experienced less than full cans when exchanging rather than filling them. Just a note to watch out for that ! Heater was easy to put together and is built out of sturdy stainless steel material. If you are in the market for a patio heater I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

Pleasing to look at, puts out a great amount of heat! If you have it cranked up though it will go through a propane tank fairly quickly if you are lighting it each day... easy to start, assembly is relatively easy... as some of the other reviews state... do NOT buy this when it’s cold weather as you will pay above cost for the item!!! I bought it in cold weather just assuming that the price would not change depending on the season... NOT so!!! Buy this in warm weather unless you are okay with paying over value... but overall, great product...: but know that you can get this at Home Depot for the same or possibly much lower price. ... show more
