As stated in the instructions, do NOT tighten the screws until you have all screws started. Leaving the screws loose gives you a little wiggle room to align the screw holes. Once you have all the screws started, tighten all. Using the included allen wrench is a bit time consuming because you can only tighten about 1/4 turn and then have to reinsert the wrench. Luckily I have an allen wrench set that works with a screw driver handle. That certainly helped in the assembly process. I was able to assemble the set by myself but an extra pair of hands would have been handy at times, especially when trying to align the screw holes. Once assembled it's a nice comfortable set and well worth the $90 I paid for it.. Hardware was missing 3 washers, had to use my own. I guess they tried to make up for it by including 3 extra screws. FYI, it's made in Vietnam. ... show more

It’s smaller than expected, but will do for the seldom use. It would have been easier and faster to put together if some of the holes had not been misaligned. For a man with large hands it would be difficult to insert and tighten the screws because of some of the locations of the holes. The holes had to align perfectly to be able to screw the nails in and getting everything to align perfectly was ridiculous in itself. The table was easy but the chairs took me like 1.5 hours to do. This is an inexpensive set but really cute and comfy. Putting it together was easy, all the parts were there (even extra screws), and the instructions were easy to understand. The only shortcoming is a few of the screw holes were not drilled out properly and we had to redrill them.

Read the reviews and set your expectations. The assembly is kind of tedious because the positions of screws and allen key based rotating screws in just makes it hard to get the leverage. In our case having a fixit kit that had a screw driver like tool that could fit the right allen key size bit made things easier, but the previous reviews definitely have it right. This would have been a lot easier if the screws can from the outside instead of underside and insides where it is hard to reach. Having said that you only assemble it once and after assembly it looks great so all good. ... show more
