  • Still going a week in
Color: green
I am amazed and baffled. A week in with the grassy patch and my two pittie mix goofballs love it. AND, it's not been destroyed like all their other toys. The first day when I hid their treats and laid it down, I took a picture for Facebook. It was in the middle of the room and they were sitting in the doorway of their crate (their apartment) just eyeballing it. I figured it would be ripped apart in minutes. Later that day it hasn't been touched. Hmm, must be an alien craft and we'd better not go near it. Day 2 and the smell of the treats got the better of them. I came in from work and the grassy patch had been scooted across the floor and was devoid of any treats. And it was perfectly intact. So each day before I head out for work, I lay down a loaded up grassy patch for them. I'm able to check on my doggos a couple times a day. By the first checkin, the grass is bare and they usually have it close by along with a couple of the kitcat residents checking it out. My young lady, Lovee, was just laying in the doorway of their room and woofing at me. She wanted her grass that I had up on a table waiting to be filled. The whole time I've been writing I hear them crunching and scooting around their toy. It's a neat little idea and contraption. I wish I'd thought of it. Even if they attack it next week and create a homicide scene in the living room, I will still consider I've gotten my money's worth. It gives them something to while I'm out of the house, if even for just a few minutes. My plan at this point is to buy several and place them around the room. Fewer treats in each one, but spread out to make them work a bit more. Kudos for this one. ... show more

  • This thing is great
Color: green
I have a cat so I sprinkled cat nip in it, hid some cat cookies, and a few little stuffy toys. My cat loves it. It reminds me of a big bowl of lettuce lol. It really is cute and most of all my kitty seems to enjoy it. The only con is it's kinda like an artificial Christmas tree, you have to work on it a while to reshape it. But for $12 bucks I can mess around with it for twenty minutes. I took a fine mist water sprayer, sprayed it lightly and then curled the tabs forward. I didn't go crazy fluffing it up because over time it will unfurl. Also for anyone with a pet that chews you can just remove the bead lock and knot the drawstring. ... show more

  • 3 in 1 for Cats or Dogs
Color: green
Bought this for my 2 cats on a suggestion that I should get an interactive feeding toy. This was highly recommended and after using it for a few weeks I can recommend it as well. What I like is that unbeknownst to me my cats actually like it as a regular play toy, and a cat bed just as much as a snuffle mat. In fact, it's snuffle mat may be it's lowest quality attribute. The flaps aren't the greatest quality in spacing and springiness but they get the job done. I just close the bag up tight and let the cats really dig in to it. ... show more

  • Not for toy destroyers—maybe good for sweet snufflers
Color: red
It’s colorful and my 11 pound busy mutt enjoyed looking for the hidden treats until they were all found. My intent was a toy to entertain him for a bit while I do some work. Took him 15 minutes to destroy and get plastic bit out (see picture.) I would not recommend for busy dogs. I will be cutting out the petals with the plastic discs in them (including the one he customized) to try to get a bit more life out of it. Mine did enjoy pulling it around and laying on it until he decided it was time to destroy it. You have been warned. ... show more

  • Good enrichment for cats too
Color: green
First off, if i had gotten this for a dog i would have been very disappointed by the size. But then again maybe that's why it's cheaper than other similar products. The dimensions are listed I'm just very bad at estimating measurements and also imagining them. For a cat or a small dog though, it's the perfect size. I realize I'm not the target demographic here but when it comes to animal care and enrichment- if it benefits the animal, that's all that matters. Scent is very important to dogs, obviously... and it's also important to cats, which i think a lot of people forget. My cat likes to inhale her food and swallow it whole without chewing, which inevitably leads to it coming back up onto the carpet every time. So I use a rotation of puzzle feeders to slow her down and make her use her little walnut brain (as opposed to just using a slow feeder bowl). She's very smart and actively prefers her puzzles over a regular bowl (she will literally reject a bowl of food and shows preferences for a couple puzzles over others). The problem is she's gotten very good at all the puzzles to the point that even having them on a rotation to switch things up isn't enough anymore. She also unfortunately does not respond to catnip or catnip alternatives (we've tried them all just in case)- it's not super common but it is a genetic thing. As a result, she doesn't really get a lot of enrichment that utilizes scent so I thought why not see if she likes hunting down hidden food pieces. It's been a pretty big hit. It is both easier and harder than the puzzles. Easier in the sense that she can get more than 1-2 pieces of food at a time but harder bc she has to really search for them. I currently switch between this and a food dispensing ball, to balance out the challenge throughout the week. She also likes to dig a bit so being able to dig through the fabric strips is something else she enjoys. Once we've had a break from the puzzles for several months I'll start re-introducing them on rotation again and alternate between current puzzle and this mat. But the thing I like the most is I can just throw it into the wash as needed. There is no hand washing plastic nooks or worrying about food/crumbs getting stuck between pieces (some puzzles are just too weirdly shaped to fit into the dishwasher and others will not be able to be thoroughly washed by a dishwasher). She's happy. I'm happy. 5 stars. ... show more

  • Why didn't I buy this before?!
Color: green
I got this for our new puppy, but let my older boys try it out first! They absolutely love it! I put the tiniest of treats in it, and they spen quite awhile making sure they get every morsel. I highly recommend!

  • Best dog entertainment toy
Color: green
Oh man. My dog LOVES this. He’s going in close to 40 min. We sprinkle some shredded cheese and treats in. Washed in machine twice and comes out good as new. Best toy I’ve gotten in awhile.
