    • Not bad but not great.
For the price, not a bad starter, but theres a few problems. The biggest one for me is that the bar rack is much too narrow, making it hard to get a wide grip or even a middle grip for doing presses. You end up with one hand inside and one hand outside the rack, which means you gotta slide hands around while holding the bar. This is a safety issue. Second, it tends to rock forward and back. Im bot sure what joint is compromised, but something’s not sturdy. Finally, the way the butterfly attachment is designed, the pads tend to slide off mid-rep. I fixed it by drilling a hole in the front end of each pad tube and securing with a cotter pin, but its still annoying. Overall, its not a bad bench to start with, but if you’re apending 4 hours a day on it like I do, or if you bench more than 60 pounds or so, look elsewhere. ... show more

It's everything that I wanted in a weight bench, it's easy to use I can work out my whole body. Plus I save a lot of money, by not having to get a membership and going to the gym to use theirs. Took about 2 hours to assemble (took my time). set instructions easy to follow. feels sturdy. Pros: easy set up. sturdy. multiple muscle groups to work out doesn't take up too much space, lots of places to put extra weights if not using Cons: the leg extension is a little too low to the ground so the back of your foot can kit the bottom of the bench when coming down on the leg extension, but ok if you go slow and don't come back all the way Very happy with all the muscle groups to work out. this is a very good replacement for my gym workouts. ... show more

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews that said it was wobbly and hard to put together. I did not experience that at all. You do have to be careful not to tighten everything until it is fully put together but once I did that I have had no issues with it once I got it set where I wanted it. I weigh about 190 and have had zero problems with the sturdiness of this bench. It didn't take long to put together and the instructions were pretty easy to follow.
