Update: This littler box is not what I am hoping for. It’s not durable. After a couple months of use, it’s not reliable of working anymore. It sometimes kept “anti-pinching opening” and won’t rotate and clean. Sometimes it rotates half way, the. Stuck there, not turning back to its position. My cat only like this little box, so I ordered another one (new item). This company sent me a used one with cat stains on a part of the item, disgusting! Return! I love this self cleaning litter box. I’ve tried other automatic cleaning litter boxes before, this one has a unique feature that others don’t. I was surprised at first that this machine would move “half way” then went back to the original position, I thought it was not working. After I waited for the set wait time to clean (6 mins in my case), the machine went through the full cycle and dumped the litter. Later, I realized that the “half way” movement is “burying the waist” according to the app! This feature is awesome because it actually covers the litter and wait for it to dry before dumping out the litter minutes later, so if you have cats like mine that don’t cover their litter well, this feature is a life saver! Other litter boxes I had in the past didn’t “bury the waist”, so when it dumped out the litter, it made the machines dirty and I had to scrape them often. Highly recommend this machine!

I have wanted a litter robot for years, but I can’t justify spending several hundred dollars on one. The price was right on Black Friday so I finally caved. It turned out to be a HUGE upgrade and I refreshed the entire cat bathroom area after receiving it. About a month later, the price dropped down again and I ordered a 2nd one. We have 6 cats ranging in size from itty bitty kitty to massive chonk. They all fit fine. They all started using it right away, on their own, and seemed to prefer it based on how little they were using the others. One of my cats likes it so much that he uses it even though he doesn’t actually have to go because he’s bored and likes to watch it rotate. For a house with 6 cats and a minimum of 7 litter boxes to scoop, these automatic self cleaning litter boxes are life changing. My cats love having an “always clean” option, and although I have to empty the waste bin more frequently than I had hoped (every other day or so) it’s still faster, easier and preferable to manually scooping 7 of them on a daily basis. Can confirm that it’s extremely quiet, and the safety features work to stop it from rotating if the cat tries to go back in during the cleaning cycle. There are a few negatives. The opening is huge and they frequently kick litter out of it. 2 of my cats are diabetic and have intermittent polyuria. If they happen to void a large amount all at once, it forms a clump of forbidden concrete that adheres to walls and liner so firmly it defies gravity. The liner is made of fabric that is supposed to be flexible and allow waste to release during the cleaning cycle, but the design is somewhat flawed. The fabric doesn’t go up high enough for my cats (admittedly, they sometimes pee so high up that I think they’re competing for who can be the biggest jerk) and it’s not quite flexible enough to un-stick while upside down. There aren’t any plugs for the interior wheel wells to keep debris out. Theoretically, they are positioned high enough that nothing should be getting in there, but my jobless little freeloaders like to spend their free time flinging litter absolutely everywhere and I always end up digging bits of litter out of those openings with a small brush. There are also seams to be careful of when manually cleaning the inside of the unit. It works perfectly for #2’s, though, even if they are super gross or not fully formed. The waste bin isn’t sealed, and it doesn’t even have to be on the tracks for the cleaning cycle to start. It just has to be somewhere underneath it for the sensors to detect when it’s full. The deodorizing feature works surprisingly well, and when used in combination with a good litter, the odor lingers far less than a regular litter box. (We use arm&hammer clump and seal multi-cat odor blasters.) The listing makes it seem like BNZ has its own dedicated app, and I wanted to download it to set up my account ahead of time, but I could not find any info on it because it doesn’t exist. When you open the box, there is an insert to scan that brings you to download the Tuya app. Tuya is fairly user friendly, but it’s not specifically made for these litter boxes and does not have extra features like identifying which cat is which. There are 2 different graphs for “excretion times” and both are essentially useless. Maybe I’m just an idiot, but I added photos for reference. There is a built in scale, but it’s definitely not accurate on either of my units, so it’s probably not very useful for monitoring your cat’s weight. Also worth mentioning is that the listing says it works for cats up to 34 pounds, but the instruction manual that comes with it says 24 pounds is the weight limit. There is no physical button to push to turn the power off, so the instructions say to unplug it before adding more litter. I learned the hard way that it really throws off the scale if you don’t, but eventually it will self correct as it’s programmed to automatically zero-out every 24 hours. All of that being said, the MAIN reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I was not able to get product support from BNZ. While cleaning it, I lost one of the little clear bumpers that go on the bottom of the feet. They are supposedly important for the sensors to function properly, but they come off really easily, and it’s turning out to be nearly impossible to replace them. My only option was to deal with amazons customer service, which was not even a real person much less someone knowledgeable about this specific product, so it was quite difficult to explain the issue or that I was just trying to reach BNZ about replacement parts. The only contact info we could find was for the wrong BNZ, because, apparently, there are multiple companies named BNZ and they have nothing to do with each other. The fact that I can’t get one stupid little plastic foot replacement piece thing is, frankly, infuriating. Anyway, if you’re looking for a stripped down, knock-off litter robot that gets the job done and is inexpensive enough to be worth the risk knowing you can’t contact the company and it may or may not last for the long-haul, then this is for you!

I really like this item now don't have to bend over to clean litter boxes cat likes it also. She likes to watch it clean just to watch it move. Should have gotten one long time ago

After a couple of months, has completely stopped wanting to work because it says the infrared sensors are blocked. I've cleaned all that I know of but the manual doesn't even point out how many or where all of the sensors are. It's led to a very frustrating scavenger hunt with poop inches from my face. Wish there was a way to shut off the infrareds because I only do it manually, anyways since I don't trust them. As of right now, the litterbox is completely inoperable, not even operable as a regular litterbox because this error got triggered halfway through its cleaning cycle so now the drum is pointing up

Thought it was going to be a good purchase, but already it is malfunctioning. Have had to go back to regular litter box. Hope we can get it working properly again.

I bought this thinking it was going to work. It worked for a month like it was suppose to. Now, the number 2 stays on. It’s not pinched anywhere. I have tried to clean it out and make sure senors are clear. I won’t be buying this ever again. And, I will tell people that it’s not worth the money. So not happy with this product….
