It is not a moster heavy duty steel post. It also only has to hold about 10 pounds. So it works great. The holes align with the tesla wall charger perfectly. There is really nothing to improve. The base plate is thin but with 4 long screws into the column and 4 bolts into the ground it ridgids it right up. If you just bought a Cybertruck go spend the extra 50 bucks on the solid steel post for your wall charger. Or buy this. Oh, the sleeve is inside one of the 2 column parts, the one with the tape on the open end where a sticker should be (that says part in here). Been there for a year now. Does just fine.

I waited a while to review this because I wanted to use it for a while. We saved a lot by buying this instead of the Tesla brand & it has held up nicely. It sits in the rain & heat and looks great! I would highly recommend it to save money.

Looks great I was so amazed with how durable it is. Talk about heavy duty. Love the lock feature with the handle to open it. it's so easy to put up and even came with a hook to hang my house which I didn't know so I purchased one. But now I will need to return it cause the one it came with works great. So my only complaint is that the part you put in the car can't really fit back into the unit in the box very easily. if the box was a little wider it would make it easier to put it back in. right now I'm kind of playing it it to get it to go back in it's unit. I want to keep the part protected since the station is outdoors and is the main reason I got this box so agin if it could be a little wider and maybe if the unit sat a little higer I could fit the handle back into the unit easier. But over a great product. I'm hoping by the time my husband gets his Telsa Truck this box will be wider because I definitely will be buying another one of these boxes for housing my husbands unit. I recommend this box for anyone that has to put there unit outdoors for sure.. Oh it's also a great looking box. Now just waiting to see if it will rust since I live very close to the ocean.

Pretty good just the metal is a little thin. I concreted it in and installed my Tesla Charger on it.

The post is decent and it functions well to hold the charger and the cord. The installation is a bit tricky as it has no installation instructions. I thought I am missing a pice of connector but finally realized that it is tapped to the bottom side of the inner post. The quality needs improvement. The first post I received was scratched and the replacement had some fitting issue where the top and bottom post isn’t perfectly aligned. With the cost of $100, I would imagine it would be better quality.

Bought this to install charger in common area where I park my Tesla. It’s great since it allows you to lock charger to prevent theft or unwanted use.

Would not recommend buying. It is flimsy, and with the charger installed it sways back and forth every time you touch it. Feels like it is about to break. It needs welded reinforcements around base to keep it from flexing. But the base is also far too thin/ cheap/ flimsy.
