I have severe hearing loss, and have for many years. I have used OTC hearing devices for around 15 years. I started with the amplifiers available at the drugstore and continued from there. Most OTC amplifiers just make everything louder, including background noise. Some have multiple settings but still are just amplifiers, which helps but only to a point. I have tried various types too. From behind the ear to in the canal. I have had varying degrees of success but, still experienced sub-par performance. I had noticed certain frequencies just didn't come through, especially the lower tones. No matter how high I set the volume, I could not understand what some people were saying, especially my 2 sons. I realized that my hearing loss was tonal as well as volume, and that I needed to get hearing aids that could be adjusted to the specific frequencies, and these were advertised to have that ability and could be adjusted by me. I received them just over a month ago. Right out of the box, I noticed some difference, mainly the earpieces were slotted. I put them in the charger, and read the accompanying Manuel. I downloaded the app, and after charging followed the directions to do the test and initial set up. Within a few minutes, I have to say, I was hearing more clearly than I had in years. After about a week or so, I re-tested and adjusted them again. I continue to hear things better. I still have some issues, but I don't have to turn the volume up on the TV as before. I understand more in conversations, including my son's. Another thing, gone is that pesky feedback whistle that was universal with hearing amplifiers I had worn in the past. That whistle that everyone else could hear but me. So far, the battery life has surpassed my expectations. I put them in usually very early in the morning, and they are still going 12-14 hours later. They say that you will get an audible tone when the battery gets low....I have yet to hear that tone. I like that the charger base can recharge the hearing aids up to 3 times without being plugged in. That makes traveling easier, and helps when the power goes out. These aids function very well, and for the price amazingly well. I think they are well worth the price.

I only gave it a four because the battery only lasted about eight hours otherwise it is a lot better than the $3500 ones that I bought from the doctor I went to I wished I had found these before I bought those they do the same thing as the other ones but seven times cheaper they’re really good

I purchased these OTC hearing aids and after just a few uses they would shut off while I was wearing them. It wasn't a charging issue because they were recently charged. I had to keep going into the app to turn them on. Not worth the money.

FINALLY, an excellent product for an acceptional price! Great fit. Nice and small for a BTE device. Stay charged all day. Charge container lasts a long time. Controls work well. Fully adjustable through the downloaded software. Hearing test is very effective. Noise canceling options work well. Good selection of ear domes. BOTTOM LINE: As good as any far more expensive name brand hearing aids. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone needing hearing assistance.
