These hearing aids may be a good value but the right earpiece is defective. Rather than return them to Amazon, I contacted the company to see if perhaps they could be rebooted or otherwise restored without returning. The company responded quickly to my email and I responded quickly with the information they said they needed to diagnose the problem. That was several days ago and I have had no response, including to my follow up email. I will follow up with new information when I receive it. UPDATE September 20,2025 I'm now in the process of evaluating this hearing aid. I am posting this update mostly to note the ultimate responsiveness of the company. After the initial delay, a representative contacted me to apologize, noting that the company was in the process of changing (and improving) its customer service and my correspondence fell squarely in the middle of that change. My initial experience with this hearing aid is all positive but I have only used it a few times at home for watching television. So far . . . FEATURES - It has the best smartphone app I have seen in its price range. Once you insert one or both earpieces, you can control all of the features from the app. For example, you can adjust sensitivity, change environmental scenarios (driving, conversing, etc.), conduct hearing tests, and change audiogram configurations. Parameters for each ear can be defined independently and then be linked, if desired, for simple sensitivity adjustments. If you intend to use your previous settings, you don't need the app. Insert one or both earpieces and the system will automatically turn on and restore those settings. It turns on very quickly, by the way. - I also appreciate the fact that the app is thoughtfully designed and is not buggy, as many are in my experience. - I have not tested maximum battery life but I have used the device five or six times to watch television and I'm still on the first charge. I would have charged several times with my Air Por Pros. - The earpieces are not intended to be invisible or even unobtrusive. They look like a set of Samsung or Apple ear pods. My next steps are to conduct a few use case tests when driving and shopping. I also want to see how they perform when the response curves are adjusted according to an audiogram.     • Lots of good features but some don't work.

Volume control is very nice and easy to do by taping pod or from smart phone. Being able to selectively increase frequency levels is nice. It's also nice to be able to adjust sound for each ear individually. Instructions were good. Sound quality seems good to me, but i'm hardly a judge There was a lot of ringing. Really bad in car. Major problem was background noise and ringing. Directional mics didn't seem to work, another disappointment. ... show more

Work good but at $300 are over priced, I got mine on sale for $229 and even that is bit high. Will buy a second pair if they go back to $229 They offered OPEN dome's and that is what all the others do not have. I did try 2 others at far cheaper price, even tried one set twice. They had you feeling like your in a box with your own voice driving you crazy. Could tell in 30 minutes that these are far far better. The 1 star is because of your high price, At $229 it still is an ouch when retired. Put the price back at $229 and would give it 4 or 5. My problem was I needed both hearing and music. The music quality is maybe a 3 star, $30 ones are better for music. UPDATE after about 90 days the battery life is getting shorter, some days as low as 7 hours, most days about 10 ... show more

I’ve had these things in for an hour, and I'm ready to write an honest, real-live human review. No one paid me. No one gifted me. At 60, I suppose I am now firmly confronted with the fact that I have hearing loss of a moderate nature. It's no real surprise. I was a rock guitarist in a hairband from 1982-1990. Music from the concerts was so loud and I didn’t use protection. Still, I blame COVID for most of the damage. The reason I chose these was the shape, I'll be honest. The old man behind the ear models freak me out and I hate the look. I'd rather not hear. So, these look like earbuds and no one will notice. When they do, they've just say, "Wow, they look cool. Okay...", and continue on with the talk. I can hear the my fingers moving over the keyboard as I type, very loudly! I can hear the characteristic clic-clic-clic when I hit the keys. I can hear the teleconference participants upstairs in my husband's office. Normally, I can only hear him. These are great! There's a test on the app, which updates itself once you install on your phone. The test must do well because once I saved the profile, the quality of what I'm hearing improved. I can hear myself talking, clearly, and "remember" the sound of my voice. It’s like having it played back to you. That might feel a little uncomfortable for some, like seeing yourself in a video or while you’re being recorded but, I’m used to it now. As far as fit, they give you three silicone sizings. They come equipped with medium, and I have small canals so, I might switch to small. The Bluetooth 5.3 is awesome anyway. I have a headset with 5.3, and it can multi-connect and instantly connect. I suppose in the future, these things will have BP monitors and of course, advertisements when you walk by a store. Thank God for now, they just improve your hearing! These are worth 5-stars. They're going with me to Spain so I can perfect my castellano. I needed these, and they work as advertised plus, I’m additionally pleased with the sound quality. These earbuds do NOT work as frequency enhancing hearing aids . They merely amplify the ambient noise around you. The person right next to me was drowned out by noises 50+ ft away. The app setting did little to nothing to tune the frequencies of sound coming in
