I’ve had these things in for an hour, and I'm ready to write an honest, real-live human review. No one paid me. No one gifted me. At 60, I suppose I am now firmly confronted with the fact that I have hearing loss of a moderate nature. It's no real surprise. I was a rock guitarist in a hairband from 1982-1990. Music from the concerts was so loud and I didn’t use protection. Still, I blame COVID for most of the damage. The reason I chose these was the shape, I'll be honest. The old man behind the ear models freak me out and I hate the look. I'd rather not hear. So, these look like earbuds and no one will notice. When they do, they've just say, "Wow, they look cool. Okay...", and continue on with the talk. I can hear the my fingers moving over the keyboard as I type, very loudly! I can hear the characteristic clic-clic-clic when I hit the keys. I can hear the teleconference participants upstairs in my husband's office. Normally, I can only hear him. These are great! There's a test on the app, which updates itself once you install on your phone. The test must do well because once I saved the profile, the quality of what I'm hearing improved. I can hear myself talking, clearly, and "remember" the sound of my voice. It’s like having it played back to you. That might feel a little uncomfortable for some, like seeing yourself in a video or while you’re being recorded but, I’m used to it now. As far as fit, they give you three silicone sizings. They come equipped with medium, and I have small canals so, I might switch to small. The Bluetooth 5.3 is awesome anyway. I have a headset with 5.3, and it can multi-connect and instantly connect. I suppose in the future, these things will have BP monitors and of course, advertisements when you walk by a store. Thank God for now, they just improve your hearing! These are worth 5-stars. They're going with me to Spain so I can perfect my castellano. I needed these, and they work as advertised plus, I’m additionally pleased with the sound quality. I consider them an excellent value for the money.

I have gone back and forth trying to determine if I like these, if they are hearing aids or just amplifiers. I have also gone back and forth whether they deserve 3 or 4 stars... They have plus and minuses both mechanically and digitally... first let me say these are a PITA to get out of the case for me they are very slippery and I have found I have to take the left out first and then the right which is not the way I deal with earbuds... From a fit point of view they were OK with the medium closed eartips and then i tried and smalls and finally the large and found the large tips to work the best for me, every other earbud I wear I use medium eartips. The case is compact and easy to carry and uses a USB C charging cable (good). The battery life has been fine for my testing which has usually been about 3 hours nightly. From a sound perspective they do amplify and have made watching TV mostly better however they have not helped as much with my wife's voice which would have been nice... LOL I wore them for a week and then there was an update and after the update they improved so it is possible that further updates may help them improve. They have a slightly tinny sound. The app has 4 sound modes and a three frequency equalizer as well as a noise reduction setting and playing with them has helped in some situations and not in others. I have never worn true hearing aids so I can't compare but it seems to me these are more of an amplifying system as I can't seem to get them to just amplify what is important such as voices.

These earbuds do NOT work as frequency enhancing hearing aids . They merely amplify the ambient noise around you. The person right next to me was drowned out by noises 50+ ft away. The app setting did little to nothing to tune the frequencies of sound coming in

You can't beat these for the price. Clarity, control, fit, functionality... no problem with screech feedback... being able to control w>th the app is a plus as well. Bluetooth pairing is easy. Charging is easy and uses USB C.

I have tried a number of different "over the counter" hearing aids and in my opinion these give me the best audio quality of any that I've tried so far. I haven't had any issues with "whistling" or "ringing" noise while wearing these and I generally only need to have the volume set on the lower levels. For me personally I do notice that background noises become much more prominent when I have the hearing aids turned up to the higher volume levels. while using these I do notice a helpful increase in my sound perception when watching tv or having a conversation. These came with a medium size of ear tip installed on them but I have since switched to the smallest sized tip as I have issues with discomfort when wearing earbuds for an extended period of time. For me personally I would probably prefer these to be an over the ear style to help with my ear comfort, however I realize most people prefer the ear bud design especially so that it doesn't look like a conventional hearing aid.
