    • It's worth giving them a try
I think these generic hearing aids have some nice basic features. They each have a USB-C connector for recharging internal batteries. Two short USB cables are included for charging both hearing aids simultaneously. The 5-level button volume control provides sufficient dynamic range adjustment. The electronics build seems to be of decent quality. The background noise level does seem very quiet, but I couldn’t verify that it has what I think of as noise cancellation. I think it may just be using low-noise amplifiers. The frequency response of these aids is purported to be optimized for average speech intelligibility. That may be true, since the frequency response seems narrow and not wideband. But do they do any good? I played back recordings of audio speech at various volume levels, both with and without the hearing aids. I would lower the amplitude to the level where I began missing words. I could find no combination of settings where the aids improved speech intelligibility. I tried using the various sized ear pillows provided. They all produced a relatively tinny sound, indicating a narrow frequency response, perhaps due to poor acoustic coupling into my ear canal. Bottom line: I think these are worth giving them a try. ... show more

    • Ok but probably not the best

I'm hearing impaired and I wanted these to wear in the morning since my rechargable hearing aids only last 9-10 hours. They are somewhat programmable for frequency, but not to the extent of quality hearing aids. I had difficulty pairing this headset because the directions are inadequate. I used AI to help pair it and it just became very complicated. I finally paired it after many tries . The sound is adequate. Lots of vibration. You can feel the vibration as sound enters. You also hear your own voice in a way different then natural hearing or with hearing aids. While the sound is not as clear as I'd like it, it's not bad. I'm not sure if this is the best set on Amazon for the price. There are less expensive ones that my be ok. Keep in mind that I'm using these in place of hearing aids others use them to listen to music to keep there ears free. This serves a very different purpose and may work just fine. ... show more

    • Headband is too small!

This device works fantastically! The only problem is the size of the headband. I wear a 7.125 hat, and the headband is too small, with the convection "pads" and the ear "hoops" cutting into my ears. After about an hour or two, I have to take the device off in order to rest my ears.
