This Betumoda Level 1&2 charger is a great value. I have owned 5 different EVSEs to charge my EV over the last 8 years and this one impressed me with the quality and features for the price. It is very well made and the user interface is easy to use and provides relevant information that I like. The only unknown is long term reliability for which only time will tell. But for the price, it is well worth the purchase.

The unit has only been used for level 1 charging, but it has worked fine. It is relatively easy to adjust. The default to a lower amperage avoids the circuit tripping that I experienced with another cable that defaulted to 32 amps and was virtually impossible to adjust, causing circuit tripping...

Update, Thunder Direct fixed issue I had below very quickly, great customer service. Charger works great. Did not come with NEMA 5-15 plug so not about to charge at typical household wall socket. Title states it comes with it and picture shows it, but alas not included in the box.

Plugged right in to the 6-20 receptacle I installed in the garage. It can charge my Leaf in one third the time compared to the 110v factory charger. I keep the factory charger and a long extension cord in the trunk for emergency charging now. Very good design.
