With a solid base and a good table to go with the umbrella, it has a soft luxurious look, sturdy and gets the job done. It has a way to be adjusted on an angle, which is great, and the lights is a cute touch!

Umbrella arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I swapped out the solar battery for name brand before setting outside. We've always kept a patio umbrella for our small (175gal) driveway pond, which needs shade frm blazing sun. Our 3 giant goldfish really seem to enjoy the lights at night. Its jst enough light to maintain mellow ambiance but not really bright enough to attract bugs. So far, its been through some pretty strong summer storms and held up fine. The color is beginning to fade a little but it still looks good. IMO this umbrella's worth the money - lots of lighted patio umbrellas out there, happy to recommend this one.

I Love that the color was very vibrant and the poles were heavy duty and sturdy. I like the easy to crank umbrella. However, I didn’t like the lights, very dim and dark underneath when you turned them on.

I've purchased a LOT of umbrellas over the years, I live in a very hot, dry canyon that is brutal on outdoor items in the summer. Out of all the umbrellas I've tried, BEST CHOICE has made the best ones, every time. The color lasts the longest, compared to others, and the ribbing and the lights button and the solar lights last the longest as well. It's the only brand I buy anymore, and my umbrellas last 2-3 seasons at most, being out in the West Coast elements year round. Outdoor umbrellas don't last forever, they take a beating, so I shop the sales and keep my expectations realistic. When putting any solar umbrella together for the first time, double check the solar panel is securely fastened to the umbrella top. Sometimes the connector isn't connected and you'll get a little residual charge that works the lights for a night or two and then you'll mistakenly think the umbrella lights don't work. They do, they're just not plugged into the solar panel.
