The wire works flawlessly - couldn't ask for anything more. The detector starts up when the USB powers on, it goes off at the correct time. All functions work. The both plugs are high quality and make a firm connection. The wire is thicker (just a bit) than other brands I have used, indicating to me it is higher quality. The little in-line box apparently contains a microprocessor that ... keeps the device safe? Not 100% sure, but it can make the application a little bit clunky - more so than something that is just a straight wire. I have some room in a center console box though - so it doesn't effect me. Also the 90* USB C plug may or may not work depending on your setup. For me it's great, it keeps the wire out of the way and prevents pressure/pulling at it as would happen if it didn't have the bend. As with all products, the wire is going to take a bit to straighten out properly, but this is a recommended wire if you need one. Far more convenient than a "cigarette lighter" that is standard with the detector!

Running my Escort radar detector means plugging it in and stretching the coiled cord to its extreme to reach my car's windshield. It's pretty inconvenient. It also fills up the only 12v socket there is so I need to use one of those 12V socket splitters if I want to run/charge something else at the same time. The SYGGDERS USB-C to RJ11 Plug Cable takes care of that. I can now use a high-power multiport USB charger to both power my Escort detector and charge my phone. The cable works as expected and this long 3 meter version allowed me to run it up the side and across the top of the windshield to make a semi-permanent mount. The box that contains the circuitry is pretty small and unobtrusive and is far enough away from the plug that it won't interfere with other cables. I tried plugging the SYGGDERS into several 12v USB-C chargers I had and they all worked to power the detector. I'm happy with the SYGGDERS USB-C to RJ11 Plug Cable.

Make sure your detector uses an RJ-11 connector before you order this. Some detectors.have a different connection. This cable replaced my original Passport 9500ix curly-cue cord. This one doesn't come with a mute button but my detector is mounted to my rearview mirror so I can still easily hit the mute button on the detector itself. Works great for my application!

Item is just as described and this one WORKS! I have tried some from other vendors and they did not work. Nothing special about the packaging and nothing in it but the cord. No instructions but self explanatory. Plug in to USB C and plug the other end in to the detector. The right angle USB C is a nice touch. This is also longer than the last working brand I found and I ordered it especially for the length. Works great for new cars that have no 12V power port, only USB C.
