Nothing super fancy. Just an electric kettle. It does the job well. Just a little vinegar to clean up every now and then. Even dropped it by accident and it didn't break. Careful for anyone who's never had one of these. They pull a lot more energy than one might think, a lot like a toaster. So if you put it on the same switch as other things like a microwave and run them at the same time, you may pop a breaker. ... show more

I bought this pot to replace an old stainless steel unit I had. The pot performs very well. I can boil a quart of water in 4 or 5 minutes. The unit is glass but is quite sturdy and is actually lighter than the stainless unit it replaced. Blue LED lighting illuminates the pot while its heating. 1500 watts, 1.7 liters and only sixteen bucks when I bought it. You just can't beat the deal. ... show more

This is a fantastic kettle, basically indistinguishable from the competition, and (at least for me when I bought it) it was far more affordable. I do wish the lid opened to a 90 degree angle to make it easier to fill and clean, but other than that I have no complaints.
