I expected a five-star product due to the stellar reviews and the material used for the bumpers. I had always utilized felt bumpers with good but not great success. Unfortunately, the felt pads in my home have reached their end of life and have begun falling off or apart. As I am not too fond of loud noises (especially drawers and cabinets slamming), I immediately sought a replacement and came across these. I had never seen nor used this type of bumper (the material, while clear/transparent, remains a mystery). Still, the combination of the perfect ratings and promising material made me order without hesitation. After receiving them, I quickly went to work replacing my existing failing felt pads, and after adhesion, I found myself perplexed and unsatisfied. As I still have some felt bumpers intact, I found the felt pads to dampen the closing of my cabinets and drawers more efficiently in the same room where I installed these. So, in actual side-by-side comparisons, these fell short of my anticipated goal, and loud closures still exist (and I never slam anything shut; it is a lifelong habit to close everything gently). The price is fantastic for the quantity, and the bumpers are well-made and easy to attach (the adhesive works exceedingly well but not to the point of worrying about removing paint or the material you attach them to). However, the function is not as good (at least not for me, in side-by-side comparison) as traditional felt bumpers (which I see are now more difficult to find). I am always fair in my reviews and ratings, so I must be honest. I could see others questioning my review if I could not compare the felt bumpers to these; however, I had that ability (and in the same rooms). They are inexpensive enough to try without regret if they do not work out for you (and if they do, fantastic), but I recommend sticking to the tried and true felt bumpers of old for better dampening.

We have this beautiful marble tray that someone gifted us but it doesn't have a tab on the bottom of the tray. I saw these door bumpers on Amazon and put them on and works great! We really needed 5 but but 128 pcs instead. $9 who is arguing. We are just happy to be able to use our tray.
