The context you need here is that we are a very pasty, ghostly family. I've been sunburned wearing SPF clothes and sunblock. I'm just a sunburn magnet, so we take literal layer upon layer of precautions. Also: we had a beach umbrella take flight once and become a javelin chasing other beachgoers, so air venting is a must. Now admittedly, it's still April and in the frosty fields of New England, the sun isn't at its meanest yet. That said, we've been having some pretty decent winds this week, and this handled it nicely! I worried initially because it's also rainy (you know what they say about April showers) but what's great is that the wind passed through the vents and didn't let the rain in! Sure, there were a couple drops but this isn't an umbrella I'm depending upon to keep me dry, ya know? I haven't been able to test it in the sand yet, but it seems at least as durable as other umbrellas in that department and owing to the aforementioned javelin trauma, we'll probably have an added layer of umbrella security anyway. ;)

Good umbrella for my purposes. I am using it in my yard with my bistro table/chair set. The screw went easily in the ground. I have pretty dense soil and was easily able to go down at least 10 inches. The screw end is plastic, and seemingly pretty cheap plastic at that. The large bolt that holds the upper part in place is also made of cheap feeling plastic, so I am skeptical about longevity. The umbrella is large and is coated on the inside and does seem like it will do a good job providing UV protection. Overall, I'm satisfied and this work for my needs

This is a fantastic umbrella that's made for spending an entire day on the beach. First and foremost it's bright yellow (!!) so along with the happiness that color brings it also reflects the sun and heat away from you rather than absorbing it. It's been coated to be waterproof and fadeproof. Getting it to stand is made easy with a base that screws into the sand (there are flip down handles to use too). It has a lock button tilt function for adjustment. It's a pretty big umbrella so it provides a large swath of shade and it's tall enough to stand/walk under. It even has cupholders for drinks and hooks for towels! Definitely a beach must-have. Be aware there are no other type bases provided so your ground must be suitable.

The media could not be loaded. This umbrella is exactly as described in height, width, and color. It had a solid pole, a carrying bag, and a drink holder. The ribs look strong and durable. I really like the tilt function; it can tilt both ways, allowing for versatility when using it. I would recommend this product. Excited to use it this summer! Tiny Con—My only grievance is that the material of the umbrella feels very light. I think I was expecting a thick canvas, but this is lighter than that. It still looks good; I just wish it was thicker.
