I bought this to install over my outdoor EV charging equipment to give some shelter from direct sun, hail, snow. I wanted a strong structure that would look good. Pros: - very solid - looks professional quality - fairly quick to build (about 60-90 minutes working by myself) - included some (but not all) mounting hardware Cons: - written instructions and YouTube video seem to be partially outdated and could be clearer about to orient some pieces so drill holes are in proper orientation. - I had to undo two steps when I realized I missed a detail and hadn’t assembled some pieces correctly. - The upper lip/rain shield comes with nice mounting hardware. Rest of the structure doesn’t come with mounting hardware. I was able to get what I needed from local hardware store for a few dollars. - The instructions call for a clip that attaches the awning to the rain lip but the piece wasn’t included with the 3 foot version. Doesn’t seem needed. - would’ve liked more details on how to mount this in a brick wall. Instructions referenced M6/M8 hardware but details like washers would be nice. Notes: - installing this on the wall is a 2-3 person job. The assembled awning weighs 40 lbs and holding this in place while drilling in mounting hardware was a challenge with my wife using the power drill while I held the awning. - the awning is open on both sides. This isn’t a surprise and the pictures make this clear. To keep out rain/snow, would be nice to have an option to buy closed side pieces. ... show more

I just ultimately couldn't be happier with these awning. Assembly took about 2 hours for both because the instruction sheet isn't real accurate (or the video) but they are well made, heavy and appear durable. One came without the mounting brackets but the company shipped them quickly. I would recommend these. ... show more

The quality was excellent. Not only was the awning put together really well, the packaging of it was quite amazing. I have never seen anything this size that was packaged so well in my life. I couldn’t believe the expert packaging. It comes with a bottle of fingernail polish for touch-ups, but there wasn’t a single scratch or dent on mine. The instructions were a little hard to follow, but they have a YouTube video that makes it easier. I love mine. It looks great. ... show more

This arrived very well packaged and 100% complete. Directions are not the greatest but if you can read then the info you need is there. I glanced at the instructions a few times to ensure I was proceeding correctly but really the whole thing is pretty intuitive. It took me 1 hour start to finish to install but I am not a novice so likely longer for the inexperienced but certainly doable. A few notes, tools needed: 2) 1/2" or 13mm wrenches, screw gun with #2 phillips bit and drill with 3/32" drill bit, there are self drilling sheet metal screws that are used to assemble the corners of the frame (and elsewhere), I found predrilling into the plastic corner assembly much better than relying on the screw to self drill and is more secure, also, you may want to buy 5/16 x 2 1/2 lag bolts if attaching this awning to wood wall and you will need 4 #10 x 1 1/2" deck screws to attach roof cap to wall. It is very durable the awning is not of a plastic material the construction is sturdy , fits great and a great value. Now the price has increased considerably. Other options are available at a cheaper price. The name is the only difference in awning
