About two months ago, I purchased this charger. It is a well-made device that charges my Kia EV9 quite effectively. In roughly five hours, this 50 amp model charges my Kia to 90%. Using the app, you may set it to start charging at a particular time and charge level. I have mine set at 48 amps for charging. It has operated without a hitch. I heartily endorse this product. It has WiFi, and you can use the app on your phone to program it and keep an eye on it as it charges. In either case, all you need to do is loosen three screws and place the one ground line and the two positive poles of the 220 to 250 V line in the appropriate three locations. It is quite simple. Once you tighten them, the task is completed. He replaced all of the small screws that you had taken out of the panels. If you were hardwiring it, it would be ready to hang on the wall. My initial idea was to hardwire it specifically for this device through the rear. That would remove the wall outlet that I have wired for a welder. I am happy I went with the 50 Amp option, and installation was simple. I nearly chose the 80 Amp, but I did not want to put too much strain on my already overworked breaker box. The length of the cord is 25 foot long. The charger functions properly. I really enjoy the iPhone app's scheduling feature, which allows me to charge at the best time of day for electricity prices. I also take part in my local energy provider's Flex EV Program. The actual item was easy to install. It comes with a sturdy bracket that fits directly into an exterior or interior wall stud. After that, it just slots into the bracket and is secured in position by a bottom security Torx bolt. It took me longer to get the right bit out of the drill than it did to attach the charger to my garage. Hire a qualified electrician to do the installation. The electrical installer felt that having a rotary switch to adjust the maximum current was a nice feature. instead of being controlled by software. They put the charger in the garage. Two green lights appear when the device is turned on but not charging. The first light indicates that the device is turned on, and the second indicates that your wifi network is connected. Additionally, when the EV car is charging, the third light will be green; when it stops charging, it will turn blue. When you first set up the app, it asks you what you would want to donate. There are many features in the software itself. The wifi connection required two attempts on my part.

This charger is an Autel MaxiCharger Single Charger, Model UW12-J0700C0A002. It has legit UL and FCC certifications worked great to charge my Rivian R1s at 47.2 Amps. I installed a NEMA 6-50 pigtail to my charger for testing purposes and had no problems using the very convenient backplate to install the super-heavy 6 AWG wires into the screw terminals. After that, I installed the Autel App, scanned the barcode in the included documentation and added the charger to my account. Took about 5 minutes to get it on the network. Normally, the charger is not setup to automatically charge when connected - but you can configure this option so that it just gets rippin' once plugged into an EV. This particular MaxiCharger version is VERY basic - no display, so you have to use the App to get any useful detail about what's going on or to stop the charger (you could also stop the charger from your vehicle, as well). You do get a bright LED ring to indicate current status. My unit was charging my Rivian R1S at 47.5 Amps on a 50 Amp circuit, so it was working as expected. Yes, I absolutely would recommend this charger. Safety first when it comes to EV chargers, so valid test certifications from UL and/or TESA and/or ETL are mandatory. Do not risk your car or your home to the electrical damage that could be caused by installing a sketchy, uncertified high-current EV charger. Lots of pictures available in my review. The documentation is pretty basic but has what you need. Don't lose the included QR code and PIN number - you'll need it to pair the app to the charger!
