This is an excellent charger. Price is right for a 50A. Build quality seems top notch. I do not have problem with its cable being too thick as people complaint. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. Schedule charging is very convenient to avoid peak hours. Size is good and does not stand out too much. I do have some questions and customer service always reply the next day. Good customer support. I would recommend Autel.

Just installed this today. Got it from Amazon. Found out: a) It is considered a commercial charger (no indication of this on Amazon). b) Does not have bluetooth. c) Will not connect using the Autel Charge app via Wi-Fi. It does, infact, connect to the hotspot as you can tell via the phone settings, but the app never states it is connected and runs in a loop of errors. d) Contacted support, who's options were 1) return it to Amazon...you know, after it is hardwired to my house and there is no guarantee i just wouldn't get the same one, 2) run an ethernet cable (there are no visible ports). I can actually pull up the Configuration portal via the router IP address when connected to the hotspot. I thought, "Cool! Maybe they can just give me the username and password and we can configure it that way to get internet and update the firmware, etc." Nope. The technician did not support it, saying it was for commercial use. So, now I'm stuck with this. My EV is being delivered shortly, and I hope I can charge it without activating it. Otherwise, I would expect better support from Autel than this. UPDATE 2026-01-22: Autel reached out to me, took my feedback, made sure I was satisfied, and put out a software update that fixed the issues I faced. As device is charging as designed, it works great so far and would recommend it now that the software has been updated to work during the set up.

THIS IS A COMMERCIAL CHARGER. The listing is not applicable to the device you get when you order, which really sucks. Theres no bluetooth option, and you cant connect to the hotspot when its first installed. So I am stuck using the charger without the app.... really disappointing

I got the hardwired version fory 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT. It charges at ~11.2kwh without fail and was an easy install (to be fair, I'm not an electrician, but I am an electrical engineer). Utility company gave me a $400 bill credit for the install, which completely covered the permit for the work. It has Bluetooth and wifi, so I always know when I'm charging, how far, how much it's costing me, etc. I can share the charger with the Autel or plugshare networks if I wanted, but I put it in my garage, so that'd be a bit hard. I still list it online for those in an emergency situation, but so far it hasn't been asked for. I wish the cable rubber was a bit thicker, as it has been chewed up by something already (God know what could've chewed into that), but the damage is very minimal and not even remotely a risk and I do wish it was about 2m longer, but it's fine as is. I can still reach outside for when I don't feel like fighting my small garage opening.

This item was ordered in August of 2023 and professionally installed as a hard wired option to a dedicated circuit. It was only used on weekends, since I get to charge my plug in hybrid car at work for free. It worked great until now, but the charger stopped working in January of 2026. That's less than 100 charges. The error message on app displays "CP voltage abnormal/grounded (#10)." For now I am using the portable charger that originally came with the car without any issues. I've eached out to the Autel manufacturer for support as they advertise a 3 year warranty, but so far only crickets. Based on the lack of product longevity and the lack of customer support I do not recommend this product. Update 1/292026: Autel Replaced the effective product with the same.
