Was very unsure about this purchase only because it was such a special purchase. My daughter's wedding dress. I read reviews over and over. Felt like they were good. And felt ok about purchasing it. And knew if we weren't pleased we could return it. However we all know sometimes returns are a hassle. My daughter loved the picture of the dress but yet was also a little uneasy about buying sight unseen n not trying it on. But we decided to give it a shot. There was a little bump in the shipping/delivery however the seller was very pleasant and fast with responding and taking care of that issue which made us very happy. The dress arrived and let me just say. Wow!! Not a disappointment at all. It's absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Very good quality and made well. We are truly amazed and very satisfied. Of course just like if we had bought it in a bridal shop we will have to have alterations however very few. It fits pretty well just a few places will need some taking in. So if you're having any doubts don't. I don't do reviews much but I felt like I really should do this one so everyone who had some hesitation or was second guessing and was on a tight budget like me. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this dress in the mail. I honestly thought it was going to be thinner and/or lower quality being ordered on Amazon and shipped from China. However, the material is actually quite sturdy. The lace on the body and the lower part of the dress is not the highest quality, but unless you're inspecting it up close and really nitpicking, it's quite beautiful. In the 2nd photo you can really see the blush color of the dress come through and it is exactly what I wanted. As far as the sizing goes, it was actually perfect because the lace gives you some leeway. I wore a trumpet petticoat underneath to give it a little more volume, although depending on how you want it to look and how high your heals are, that may not be necessary. I gave the dress 4 stars because I did have some alterations made: - I had the shoulder straps shortened so that I could wear them over the shoulder or slumped down on the side and they would just look better. I ended up using them as actual straps because I did not want the dress to slide down too much. You really can lace it up quite tight so that doesn't happen, but I had this thing laced up as tight as I dared and I could barely sit or lift my foot up high enough to get in the car. The dress is just thick and stiff enough to not allow much movement, so if you plan on busting some moves on the dance floor, good luck. - As you can see in the 4th photo, the tulle and the fabric underneath were not the same length, so I had the tulle shortened a little to match up. My seamstress also put a few small stitches in to hold the 2 layers together so that when the fabric underneath moved, the tulle would move with it. - In the 3rd photo, you can see I had the back bustled just a little. I think this made the dress a bit more manageable. All in all I'm really happy I went with this dress. I felt so beautiful and didn't break the bank to do it. Invest in the small alterations if you can, but this was still a nice dress even straight out of the package. ... show more
