I couldn't be happier with my aids. I was having feedback issues so called Audien. My rep I talked to was beyond helpful! Ben, addressed my concerns and walked me thru all the steps to get positive results. In the end I upgraded to Atom Pro 2 and they are perfect. No issues at all. Don't get discouraged. These are very easy to change modes and volume. When you call you will actually get a live friendly person on the phone. So I just want to commend Audien for having every capable customer service reps like Ben.

I have worn several brands of hearing aids in the last few years. These are the worst. Perhaps they are defective?? Trying all the different settings, the sound is inconsistant. It is like the aids are turned off, then all of a sudden with a noise they come on. And when our grandfather clock is chimming, the aids turn off and on rapidly. I am sending them back. Also, the button for adjustment is awkward to use, especially if you have larger fingers. Perhaps these were from a batch of defective aids?? There were different prices from different suppliers on Amazon and I went with the company with the best price, which was several dollars less than the other companies.

This hearing aid was amazing! I could hear clearly, but ran into one problem. I have had 7 surgeries on both ears, and because of that, the silicone tip would go in too far. I contacted Audien, and they suggested I try the foam tips. That didn't work for me either. Than Audien did something amazing. They asked me to return the product to them, and they would send me a new hearing aid, wherein it hooks around the ear and therefore stays in place. Audien worked with me all the way through & immediately responded to every email. I would recommend trying them before anyone else. I'm impressed on how much they cared about my problem & what they could do to help me.

I ordered these hearing aids for my mother. The first pair were fine, but she lost one so I ordered these thinking they would be the same. My Mom is also legally blind. The hearing aids are positioned in the charger differently and they have a sound adjustment which is hard to keep your fingers off of when placing them in your ear. They have a terrible feedback scream and they echo. I realize part of the problem was operator error, but the other ones didn't have these issues and I wanted the same product.

Sending unit back as one aid quit working, easy process as they are sending new ones. Hope these last longer than a couple months.

The customer service for Audien is the best I have had in a very long time. I ordered this and was a little sceptical if they would be any good. I have a mild to medium hearing loss and the price was good for a hearing aid. Got them and charged them and put the first one in. No fancy adjusting very simple. Was shocked at how clear the words on tv was. Put in the second one and could not get it to work. Really liked the way the first one worked so decided to call the help number provided. Rang 3 times and a live, yes I said live, person answered. Aleli listen to my problem and said would ship me new ones, give me a return label for the defective pair, and was really sorry this happened. In 3 hrs I got an e mail back with return label and confirmation a new pair will be shipped. I have every confidence this is going to be a great purchase. Other companies could take lessons on their customer service. If you need a hearing aid this is it

I gave these a try. While I was a bit impressed at first with the quality of sound, there were a few problems that persisted. I even exchanged them for a 2nd pair to see if that would resolve my problems. First of all, I noticed an intermittent persistent hum. No matter how I positioned them in my ear or which ear cones I used, the problem persisted. It got irritating after awhile. The other issue I had was the some of the sounds that were amplified. The sound quality is so clear that I could hear my spouse in the other room talking on the phone and I could even hear the voice of the other person on the phone. By the way, the hearing aides were on the lowest volume. I bought these hoping to help me with my main problem, hearing people CLOSE to me talking, and not being interrupted from the surrounding voices and background sounds. I was at a party the other night, and I had to take them out when I was in a small group of 4 guys talking. I couldn't really hear them clearly because the hearing aide was so good at amplifying the other people in the room. I'm going to look for another hearing aide that 1, does not have an intermittent hum, and 2 reduces the background ambience noise so that I can better distinguish the closer conversation, perhaps with some form of noice cancellation.

As one reviewer already mentioned -- just to reiterate an important point they made -- it is *critical* to get a tight seal in the ear canal to prevent/greatly subdue whistling and feedback. Just now learning about it all -- can say Im much happier with the tighter seal. Really dont want to provide a star rating right now, but 3 or 4 would be accurate -- maybe a 5 we will see as they go along -- they function much better with a tighter seal which prevents feedback from within the ear to the microphone.
