Description

The Atrix Ergo Backpack Vacuum Premium Bundle VACBP10, is an excellent and economical option for janitorial, offices, and warehouse applications. The Ergo backpack is lightweight, safe and low profile making it comfortable for the professional cleaner to wear for a long duration of time. It is powerful with its 1,400 watt cleaning power which produces 106 CFM. The vacuum provides four levels of filtration which consists of an eight quart HEPA bag, cloth shake out bag, HEPA premotor filter, and an exhaust filter. The Ergo Backpack Vacuum Premium Bundle also includes a 10 Pack of HEPA Vacuum Bags. The Ergo backpack vacuum can be adjusted to left or right hand operation and easily converts to a blower providing an extra cleaning dimension. The vacuum can capture everything from bed bugs to dirt and debris. This product should not be used for hazardous particulate applications. I love this vacuum, so handy for edges, corners, hard flooring. BUT, today I had the hose cuff break. This twists on and off the hose easily and then clicks into the vacuum inlet. The edge broke and hose will no longer click in and stay in. Could not find a hose cuff for sale on Amazon, so I called the Atrix company in Minnesota. They do not sell the cuff alone. My only option: buy the entire replacement hose for $25. Really, Atrix???? I spent some time looking at other brands of replacement hose cuffs, nothing that would work. I just started my own cleaning company and wanted something that was light weight to carry with me to jobs that also wouldn’t kill my back and this vacuum is perfect. The only flaw I can find is where to put the attachments. I know the belt has small loops in it to stick the attachments in but I worry I’ll lose them. The suction is great on this thing and I do love the number of attachments it came with.     • Disappointing Performance After High Expectations

had high expectations for this backpack vacuum, but after using a ProTEAM, I realized how poorly this one performs. The only positive is the floor attachment, which is practical thanks to the button that lets you switch between carpet and hard floors easily. Unfortunately, everything else is a letdown. It only has a waist strap, leaving the chest unsupported, so it feels loose and unstable while wearing it. After just a few days of use, one of the shoulder straps came off completely, causing the vacuum to fall and leaving visible scratches on the floor. It requires an extension cord, but the way the cable hangs makes it very easy to trip over it or accidentally disconnect it, shutting the vacuum off mid-use. Once all the accessories are connected, it becomes extremely difficult to disconnect everything, making storage in a car or closet very impractical. I bought two of these vacuums because they were reasonably priced and had several good reviews. Unfortunately, my experience has not been great. I spend more time trying to unclog the vacuum than actually using it. When it works, it does the job, but overall I am not impressed with the suction power or the quality of the attachments. The hose is very small, which causes it to clog far too often. In the photo below, the clog was stuck in the handle area, which cannot be removed. I bought this Atrix Backpack Vacuum not for my main cleaning but for the tougher jobs. We have a central vacuum system in our home so when it comes to cleaning the vehicles, horse trailer living quarters, camper, and apartment in our barn, I needed a vacuum I can pick up and go clean. It has a very powerful suction. Pieces of hay, small gravels, and messes the kids made with chips and crackers are no problem. I’m fact, I’d say you might want to be careful and not suck up something you don’t intent to! It has enough power to pick up a small rug and clean out the corners and up against trim pieces while using the hardwood floor attachment. I am pretty sure I just sucked up an entire horse show season of dirt and hay out of our living quarters horse trailer! The backpack is probably about 20 lbs. It has a strap that supports my back and hips and also holds the attachments. The bag seems to compartmentalize the dust because I don’t smell or see anything while I’m using the vacuum.
