This is a nice and tough product. It’s very important to have good, solid corner supports! I installed 2 AC2 4x4 posts with eye hooks and then attached to other 2 corners directly to our home. The seams and corner grommets of this shade are tough and appear to be able to last. Once up, we allowed it to stretch a bit, which wasn’t much at all. I then tightened the corners up and pulled it so that there were no waves or wrinkles in the fabric. It does a great job reducing the sun’s power and drops the heat 10+ degrees - very much like the shade of a good tree. Rain water will drip through but seems to go to the middle - the lowest part when stretched out - and then dries quickly. It should be easy enough to take down and store for our winter. I recommend getting the true size you need. This will not stretch enough to change your corner attachment measurements. ... show more

The first 2 pictures are with the Triangle Sail Shade (24x24x24) and a Rectangular Sail Shade (16x20) installed. We liked the Rectangle Sail Shade so much that we got a second one and took down the Triangle Sail Shade and installed the Rectangle Sail Shade (second 2 pictures). More shade. Rectangle Sail Shades fastened on one side to a 20x40 RV metal cover, at about 12’ up. And on the other side using 12’x6”x4” posts buried 2’ concreted in the ground with 10’ above ground. At first when I opened I thought it was like a regular tarp but I hung it anyways , I’m 64 yr old women who has hard time with my mobility but got it up with not to much pain and am happy with my job ,Have had some really rough storms and thought it was not going to hold up , even with my imperfect hanging skills it’s done a good job of shading my back porch and door and the storms have not weakened it at all , I didn’t use the rope that came with it and used huge clips and I really like it ... show more

This is the 2nd one I bought after the first one deteriorated after 2 years....this one only lasted 40 days...10 days after my return window closed the first high wind we got...about 30 mph the stitching around one D ring came apart and it ended up in the pool......Hoping the seller will honor it and replace with one in kind..... ... show more

Heavyduty shade but it needs reinforced grommets every 3 or 4 feet. I've purchased 2 different types of grommet clamps and the one is made to penetrate the material which reduces the integrity of the material and the other just won't hold under any true pressure.

Used to provide shade on my dock. Gets very hot watching kids swim but once shade installed it is actually pleasant sitting out there! Bought 1" stainless tubes from Speedy Metals, some Amadget stainless Bimini Top Caps and some small Carabiner clips, 1" ID PVC pipe at box store, clamps and such where end result exceeded my expectations. Tried to buy a dock shade for years but no one seems to make one. If you need shade to get out from under the heat of the sun, this shade works "very well".
