Prior to this I’d been using a simple cheap bench. This one is flexible, and can be configured in many ways. One of the biggest features for me is it folds up and has a loop so it can hang on the wall, next to the barbells. My cats tend to use my flat bench as a scratching post so o have to leave it covered, but with this it not only is protected from the cats, it takes up so much less space. Since I only need the bench every other workout it is very convenient. It has three pins to remove and replace to fold it flat or set it up. The backrest doesn’t require a pin so it’s easy to set the angle on the fly. Assembly was easy enough, the instructions were clear, tools included, and fasteners are separated into labeled bags by step so there’s no confusion as to what fasteners go where. Placement of the washers is clear in the instructions so you don’t have to guess whether the washer should be used on the nut or bolt side, or between parts. It’s not as light as a simple cheap fixed bench, but it’s light enough. The finish is excellent. There’s piping around the seams, and the back has black fabric as wells as black ribbon over that seam. No wrinkles. The design is good, the assembly and welding are good, and I have no doubt it can handle the advertised weight limits. Regardless practice safe lifting, and always have a spotter or a properly set rack with safety bars for any lifting activity.

This bench is very well designed and uses very nice materials. Assembly was easy and the directions were excellent. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. So far, it has been very sturdy and I have felt comfortable using the bench with no worries about it collapsing or tipping over at any of the angled settings. The padding of the bench is also very comfortable. I cant really comment on the foldability yet. I have the bench perinatally set up so I haven't needed to use the folding feature. It does seem like it will be pretty easy though. There are a couple of pins to pull and it appears to just fold into itself. There are detailed instructions provided in the assembly manual. One more thing to note, the packaging this came in was exceptional. Everything was very well protected and it was really nice that all of the hardware was neatly organized in labeled bags for each step. I would definitely recommend this bench. It has so far exceeded my expectations and I think it is a very good quality item at a pretty reasonable price.

Super easy bench to set up, came with all the tools needed to do so. The bench is the perfect size and is comfortable to sit on! The only thing I dislike about it, is to have it in the upright position you just secure it with a black piece of cloth which will probably wear out and tear down the road. Other than that, it works perfect for me!

I've had a lot of experience using weight benches and therefore can speak with a lot of confidence on how this One compares with a lot of the competition. And the rating provided reflects the comparison vis-a-vis the price that it is advertised for. It's clearly reflection of the value that this product provides. ASSEMBLY They certainly was not the easiest to assemble with a lot of nuts and bolts that need to be fastened to get the entire product assembled. It took me about an hour to assemble this which is higher as compared to the competition. Typically you can package this almost pre assembled with very little additional effort required for it to take full shape. This one's not that case. USAGE The next most important thing I'm going to discuss about is the usage of the product. I am 6 ft tall and this one certainly has a limitation with respect to that height. My head at times goes over and beyond the overall length of this bench. That clearly is a challenge when you are going to do bench presses. You really need to push your butt down so that your head can rest at the top edge of the bench and you are able to do bench presses. This might be suitable for anyone who is 5 ft 10 in. But not beyond that AESTHETICS As you can see in the pictures, the design and the pattern on the seats, both that sitting place as well as the backrest is different from what is advertised. Now that's not really a problem but aesthetically the one in the advertised listing looks a lot better. Other than above limitation, the bench is certainly sturdy and can take my weight which is close to 190 lb. The mechanism to lock the bench at different angles works nicely. And the anchors in the front are smooth and easy allowing you to fit your legs so that you can do crunches. Overall, it is quite decent however, as mentioned about, it's the value versus the price that doesn't appear justified as compared to the competition.

If you're looking for a solid weight bench for your home gym, this bench is a pretty good option—but there are a few things to know before buying. Right out of the box, this bench comes in pieces, so be ready to spend some time assembling it. The instructions are ok, but expect a little trial and error. Once it’s put together, though, it feels sturdy and well-made, which is exactly what you want in a bench that’s holding you and your weights. What I Like The steel frame and 660-lb weight capacity make it feel secure, even with heavier lifts. With eight different backrest positions, you can switch between incline, flat, and decline exercises easily. If you don’t have a ton of space, this folds up nicely so you’re not stuck with a bulky bench in the middle of your room. What Could Be Better Since it arrives in pieces and the instructions aren’t great, expect to spend some time figuring it out. It’s not uncomfortable, but if you prefer softer cushioning, you might notice it during longer workouts.
