I got these as a cost effective alternative to RV Awnings that usually run in the hundreds of dollars or more. I mounted the anchors to the roof , snap on the canvas , then put the awning poles as needed depending on where I'm parked and BAM...instant shade. Takes a few minutes to put up and take down but the entire system cost $80 and packs away into a 24"x24" container. The fabric is very strong and the D rings at the corners helps for the install. I am using it to cover a spa area. Takes about a week in the sun for all the creases from the folds to disappear.. Highly reccomended.

It would be nice to include ties or bungie cords or clamps because before I could put it up I had to purchase something to tie it down. I used clamps and cord.

We have a small pergola on our back deck which has a grapevine growing on it. Not nearly enough shade during the summer to really enjoy the outdoors. I ordered the the 12x12 our deck is roughly 14.5 x14. It looks great! We will have to tighten it up over the next couple of days but I love it.
