So let me start off with why such a low rate for something I liked so much. I felt ripped off. I ordered a 12x12 to replace a broken tent. While installing it was short. When we both measured it it was 12x11’2”. It took so much work because the type of tent that we decided to leave it on and not return it. I feel cheated.     • An economical solution for a sunny situation!

I bought the sun shade to cover an existing pergola deck cover that was a bit too sunny during the summer. I was so excited to get it sooner than the estimated delivery date. I quickly found it would have been easier to have two people to put this up, but with a little time and effort, I was able to do it myself. Since there are no instructions included, I suggest first unfolding the entire sun shade and locate the four corner fasteners before putting it up. There was no hardware included to attach the sun shade to my pergola. So, I had to figure out how best to safely secure it. Once I got it squared on the pergola, I was pleased with the instant shade and feel that I got. Since this sun shade will be used seasonally, I wonder how the material will stand up to the blazing hot sun. Time will tell, but for now I am pleased with the sun shade. I would recommend this for anyone who needs an economical solution for a sunny situation. ... show more

I had to wait for special custom brackets (which cost more than the sail and treated 4X4's). It was a relatively easy install. I added grommets to the center for more tension. The material would not cut with the grommet cutting tool - it is that durable. I had to use small manicure scissors to crate the hole in order to secure the grommet. I used a lighter to melt the frayed threads around the grommet. I'm hoping that the other reviews are accurate when I encounter the first storm. I should be able to take it down with ease and store it during the colder months. So far - so good. ... show more

This is a fairly good quality canopy Comes with metal loops on four corners. I have bought others that have come with rope already on. So we had to go buy some rope. No problem though. Went up easily. We bought the red and it’s a very bright, vibrant red.
