This is the product anyone could use easily. If you want to have hot water on a daily basis then go for it it holds the heat for a more than 2 hours. It boils quickly and it is not changing the taste of the water which I should say. The stainless steel quality is good and would not have any break easily as it is strong even if you are using it with little care and it is easy to wash. Speaking about the auto shut off it will give a sound that would say to us that it is done and the length of the wire is small and if you are planning to use it in a small space go for this. The functionality is really good and it takes 8 minutes - 10 minutes to boil. When I boil it is the stove the vessel will be hot if the handle is not according but here if you are careful in holding this you can easily use it. But immediately after boiling it you can use it but if handled with care if not it is very safe to use after some time if you want to use it easily. Also when compare to the glass this is ok even if it falls down. It is a good option if you are looking something for an auto shut off

I don't even remember the name of that silly kettle she bought, but it was expensive, made a lot of noise, and you had to put your hands on the hot parts (be nice) to refill it. Now, I have an office, and bought THIS thing, and it's quieter, faster, even has this slick little button on the handle that flips the lid open, so you can fill it (or empty it) without scalding yourself. Even wifey had to admit mine was nicer than hers, and that's a pretty strong endorsement! When I saw "Amazon Favorite," I thought it was a joke, some cheapie. Nope. GET THIS.

I had this item close to a year, use it moderately, and it still works to this day. This boiler does its job well while showing a bright blue light on the bottom. When it finishes boiling the water, it does not have any negative after taste. When I am done using it, it is easy to clean to and store. Also, I would say it is a good gift especially for those who are not good with electronics. My grandma really liked it because it is easy for her to use, and for some reason the blue light attracts her to it.

Overall, I like the smaller size and I appreciate that it has a flip lid so I can open it with one hand The cons are that the cord is very hard and inflexible and it doesn’t sit nicely if you try to shorten the cord by wrapping it up inside the base. While the description states that the water touches absolutely no plastic, the filter is held in place by a big piece of plastic that sits right in the middle of the pour spout. Not ideal. If you boil more than one kettle-full of water (which I do sometimes when filling a 40 ounce thermos), then the lid of the kettle gets too hot to close. My old kettle had a small piece of non-conductive material (plastic?) where you pressed to close the lid. When it boils, the steam does come out all around the lid…not just at the spout. So you must be a bit more careful when handling it.

I spent hours researching electric kettle, learning what all of the available features and options are- cordless vs corded, tea infusers, different shapes and necks and materials, etc. Eventually I settled on a basic kettle that only does one thing, but does it well! Heats the water quickly and efficiently, no weird taste, easy to empty, easy to clean, looks nice, no fancy frills that'll eventually stop working and has flexible functionality. It's been banged around a bit on the counter but it's been a champ- no dings, dents or cracks. The handle isn't big or bulky, the lid flips open without being out of control, it's lighter than I expected and doesn't get the counter hot when used repeatedly. I'm a big fan after a month but if it takes a turn for the worse, I'll update this review.
