Looking for a modern item that could provide shade I arrived at this 20×20×20 sail. The material is rugged and beautiful at the same time. I had already purchased a 16x16x16 sail. I then purchased a 14x16 rectangular shaped sail in order to have a large shaded area in my backyard. Of course I had to purchase the rigging but that was easy as the instructions lay out what I needed to hang and install the 3 sails. Even this one alone provides plenty of shade. It's also "breathable" so air can flow through and around it and it just looks so modern. Really nice color (beige) and it's finished material even glistens in the sunlight. Well designed and tough tough material will allow for many years of comfort and relaxation. I'm so glad I got this beautiful sail as well as the other two sails. I highly recommend this particular one as it has added a new, modern and "campground" look and feel to my property. The grandchildren love playing underneath it. It's also great for the ol' afternoon nap outdoors!! Get one...you won't be disappointed.

When I saw this sand colored, triangular sun shade for $40, I was a little skeptical about how good this would be. I am very pleased so far with what I received. Many times I have been disappointed in other brands being much smaller in dimensions. This is actually longer so this is great. The connecting corner rings are securely attached to the corners with a wide, well-sewn edge. The material itself does block light very well and it appears substantially more durable than the suscreen material I bought at a local hardware store that lasted about a year before tearing. Since this shade has a warranty, I believe this will last several years before needing replacement. I have to wait for help from my son to install the poles to string this up over my pool. This is not commercial grade, but for this price, I love it.

We had been on the hunt for a 20-ft square sun shade but thought this triangle-shaped shade looked interesting. There are lots of things to like about this shade and a reality or two. The nice things: 1. Made of high density polyethylene textured and woven fabric, HDPE is know for its ability to resist tearing and fading. This is good. 2. The sail boasts being able to block up to 95% of UV rays, and this, too, is good for your skin. 3. The sail comes with D-rings on each tip end, attached by double-layer webbing strips, and they should stay in place without ripping. 4. The seller provides a 5-year warranty under normal use and conditions. This is amazing. Now, here is the reality: 1. The grade of the HDPE fabric is 185 GSM (grams per square meter). The higher the GSM, the better. This grade thickness is entry-level...yet at this great price point, you should not expect more. 2. No hardware is included, so to effectively and efficiently mount this sail, you will need to separately buy the affixing hardware (about $15 - $20 more). Again, this price point is low enough to include hardware. 3. Because this is a triangle shade and not a square or rectangle shade, you will not get a full 20 ft of shade coverage, except directly under the widest part of the sail. If you want full 20 x 20 ft coverage, buy two of these to connect together or a single square 20 x 20 ft shade cover. All in all, if a triangle-shaped shade will work for the area you want to cover, then this is an excellent and very competitively-priced shade that should provide seasons of use.

I ordered this because the color looked good in the ad, and the size sounded big! Once I opened it up, I realized that the triangles really don't offer the shade that the square sun shades offer. I have a larger area that I wanted shade, so this didn't work well for me. If you have a smaller area, maybe this would work better. I also wasn't really happy with the color. It seems very washed out.

The media could not be loaded. It is a sun sail, but I picked this up primarily to reduce the things falling on the front windshield of the car. Keeping leaves and acorns out of the windshield and the well below the windshield wiper is my goal. The 20 x 20 x 20 foot triangle should cover the front of our windshield just right. Since we picked up the triangle, it will not cover the entire vehicle... If this one works and holds up, I'll likely get a second one next spring to double it up in a split level sail, which should then give me 20 x 20 x 20 overtop 20 x 20 x 20 maybe about 30 feet of coverage, just fine for an SUV. Needed a separate mounting gear setup + some extra long cable beyond that for one of the connections I needed to make.

I haven't been able to put the sun shade up yet, but the material seems durable and breathable, which will help it to resist the high winds we get in our yard. Some light can go through it, but the material is solid. I plan to install as recommended where it won't be flat, but a bit higher on two opposite corners and lower on the other. That should also help with rain to go off the sides and not soak through. The stitching on the corners feel strong and should provide a sturdy support once it's tensioned. I don't have any worries of tearing/ripping. The material itself, in spite of being 20'x20' is light enough that managing it shouldn't be a problem and being on a ladder with it to install won't be a burden. Overall, seems to be of great quality.
