I didn’t read the reviews or the ones i saw i thought it was a few people that had mismatched and bent structure before they even put it together….well- that may be the norm with this. I was going to send it back but realized it would not be worth the $ or hassle. So we buckled down. I contacted their customer service. Stella was great. They were understanding and really wanted to make sure we had what we needed. Great communication. Ultimately it was one part that was not welded right and they sent the replacement right away. Having some tools to straighten the bent pieces was key. Yes- the awning does leak and pool. But- we will work on that. I am pretty satisfied after sticking it out.

the frame is very well constructed. HOWEVER, the canopy was difficult to assemble. extremely tight putting added stress on seams. is not waterproof. Pooling and staining was a problem first year. started showing minor seam tears by end of 1st season.. removed it at end of summer. 2nd season the tearing became significantly worse. Needs to be replaced !!!!! Does your company offer a stronger replacement?????

Raining is a big problem. The water accumulates and can’t drain, causing the Velcro of the canopy to rip apart from the frame. Nice looking, bad design.

The instructions are vague in parts and aren't clear in terms of what you're supposed to do. The pictures are somewhat helpful but are also misleading in how you are supposed to assemble the awning. Some of the parts came in bent but were able to be bent back into place pretty easily. I'm not sure if it will affect the long-term durability or not. The actual canvas that goes over the structure is very tight fitting, and we actually ripped a small corner pocket trying to get it in place. The velcro you use around it that's on the canvas isn't long enough to fully secure it to the frame. And it does puddle when it rains on the back portion if the awning on both sides. The awning is still functional and it looks great for what you pay for it. I don't know if you can buy a replacement canvas or not, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they fix the canvas issues and instructions.

Final update: I ended up paying to get rid of this product at the dump because it’s completely useless. I wasted over $700 buying 2 of these + dump fees to throw it all away after seller refused to refund my money for their defective crap. All they would do was keep asking for more pictures even after I sent pictures of their defective product. Then they wanted me to put it together and take pictures of it together, after I told them we cannot put it together due to misplaced screw holes and mounting brackets. I am quite handy and put things together or build things all the time. Impossible to do when the parts come so poorly made. I definitely do not recommend buying anything from this seller. Don’t waste your money. *Update: these people are STILL jacking me around weeks later and not refunding my money for their horrible useless product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A GIANT WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Seller sent replacement parts for the defective poles and the new parts are also defective. Screw holes and mounting brackets in the wrong places so we cannot put the frames together. The only way we can make these work is to pay a handyman to drill holes at the correct spots and/or remove the mounting brackets and weld them in the correct angles. *************** I bought 2 of these. In both packages the front corner poles had screw holes in the wrong places and top mounting brackets at the wrong angles. This means I cannot put the frame together because the top outside bars will not fit together at all. I messaged the seller to explain this and they wanted pictures of the packaging to try to blame it on a shipping problem. This is not a shipping problem. This is a manufacturing problem. The outside screw holes on the tops of these poles should’ve been straight across from 2 inside holes and they were not - they were at almost 45 degree angles from where they should’ve been. The top mounting brackets also sit at almost 45 degree angles, where they should sit at 90 degree angles from the inside screw holes. You cannot put together a square frame when the mounts are attached at ~45 degree angles. I tried putting the top outside bars together and there is no way to get them to fit onto the poles because of the misplaced screw holes and mounting brackets. I’m waiting to see what the seller does to resolve this and will update this review accordingly. So far I give this product 1 star because of the horrible quality control and complete uselessness of it. I bought 2 of these and both were bad. I am very handy and put things together or build things regularly. This is a product problem and not “operator error”. Judging by the reviews, if you get lucky and get an item with all the pieces fitting together then it may be fine. But I bought 2 and both were bad. Also note, I already had a couple of patio sails that I planned to use with these instead of the canopies that come with them, because I read reviews and saw their canopies won’t hold up in the rain. My patio sails let rain pass through so they should be ok. I only want these for shade and not rain protection.

This is a nice large sunshade. Went together fairly easily, but I recommend at least 1 other person when putting it together. Feels pretty solid and has been up now for a few months. Not 100 percent waterproof, it sort of seeps like a tent material would in the rain. Also the shade itself stretched a bit with the rain and causes puddling on the shade which is leading to some discoloration on the shade itself in those areas. A nice shade in general and do not regret buying it. 05/02/2022 the canopy itself died. started to tear at the seams and some of the fasteners came unstitched all together. Would order a replacement canopy if I could but cant find one. It lasted 1 full season.

I love the awning. But very unhappy that water pockets all along the top. If they had grommets in each one it would solve that issue. However, I know that this will not last. I paid too much for it to accept this situation. PLEASE HELP ME

One heck of a bargain ! We looked at several to buy but decided to give it a try. Glad we did & didn't have to spend a huge bundle of $$$$. Had to drill a few holes to align but my wife & but I set it up w my wife's help. She's a real gem for helping. This really does the shade job but very concerned how to get a replacement once this awning top wears out from the weather. Anyone know where to get one made or purchased?
