I’m a beginner hair dyer, and this is the most of my hair I have ever dyed before. However, it was very easy to use and we somehow managed not to stain anything. After applying both colors, we put a plastic bag over my hair and blow dried on low for 15 minutes. It worked great, and turned out very pink and vibrant. I used the violet gem and raspberry twist colors. My one complaint is that the purple turned out a bit more pinkish than I was expecting, however it was still a very nice color. I would definitely recommend using gloves and covering your work surface, since it was very staining. You also have to watch out for transfer when it’s still wet, at least for the first day or two. Fortunately, once it was dry, it didn’t transfer any color onto my white pillowcase, even on the first night of having it. It also seemed gentle enough on my hair, and left it in pretty good condition. Also- if you don’t have a specialized brush for applying the color, a toothbrush comes in pretty handy :) ... show more

I have used the red (forgot the name) and violet gem. I used the red on bleached hair and the color was sooo pretty and bright. I also used it over my black hair and it left pretty subtle red highlights. I recently dyed my hair red violet (level 2; very dark) and it faded alot. I didn't want to dye it again, so I decided to "touch it up" by using violet gem all over. My hair is probably a level 4 right now, and the violet gem made it noticeably purplish/reddish. It is sooo pretty. It's not too bright and obvious, but in the sun or light my hair has a lot of really pretty reddish/violet tones. My hair is also SO shiny and soft after using this. I like that its not damaging, and your hair doesn't have to be white to have a noticeable effect. I can't speak for fading because it seems my hair fades no matter what I use (my hair is really fine) but for the price this can't be beat. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and its pretty long. I used almost a whole bottle but I don't think I'll have to touch it up too often if I am careful of how much I wash my hair. Warning: your hair WILL bleed every time you shampoo, due to the fact that this is semi permanent. Be careful because if you don't wipe it right away, even if it is diluted because its wet, it can stain. Rubbing alcohol is a great stain remover though. My only issue is that it is very runny; which makes application a mess. Try this I bet you won't regret it :) ... show more

It was pretty good and intense colour. Just didn't end up loving the way it looked in MY hair. I've never used semi permanent dye before so I don't know if this is normal, but, the colour kinda came off onto my towel whenever my hair got a lil wet.... like if I washed my face for example.

Love THIS BLACK, BLUE, AND PURPLE HAIR DYE!!! it is extremely BRIGHT HAIR product DISNT dry my hair out. It is very vibrant and I have dark hair. Highly recommend this product 👌. You'll also have plenty of hair dye left over for touch ups or for friends. Especially with the price you cant beat that.

I’ve had my hair purple for about 3 years now, And have used so many different brands. What i like about adore is the the formula is very easy to use, it slides trough the hair very easily,It smells good, and I love the the purple tone that i get as a result, However! .... it does not last very long, i guess you get what you paid for. It comes out very bright and covers my gray. I do leave it on longer than listed in the instructions and I use a conditioning cap while it's on, but it always turns out amazing and I get tons of compliments.
