    • Bench is awkward
I have worked out for over 30 years and used various Olympic benches. This bench is not Olympic spec. The arms are too short. I guess you can say the bench is too high to rack weight. You will need a spotter for sure. If your maybe 5ft 6 it will be good for you but 6ft you will find yourself having issues over extending the bar behind the bench arms. A true Olympic spec bench will not be this way and will allow anyone to rack the weight easily without having to lower the bar 3 inches just to secure them into the catches.If you have heavy weights that your lifting this will pose a major issue and can be dangerous.Good Luck ... show more

A little more in the way of step by step direction and identification of bolts and nuts for the bench would have been very helpful to an unskilled person like me, but I did put it together by myself in a few hours.
