I purchased this umbrella in May 2020. Less than 2 months of use (which was minimal), the adjustment pin simply fell out. It appears to have sheared which essentially makes the umbrella useless unless you desire to have it tilted 100% of the time. You will also need 2 people to wind it down as one person needs to keep the umbrella in the upright position. Not sure of the warranty, but I will try and get a replacement. ... show more

Love the umbrella size and easy to open. The pole is not well made. It broke the first couple of hours we put it up. Update, moved from one star for customer service. Umbrella size great. Replacement of broken pole excellent timing. Pole broke after a couple of hours it was up, company replaced it within a week. Replacement pool does not seem to be better made, so we have put it up yet, but will give it another try this weekend. ... show more

The tilt bracket is not robust enough to withstand repeated usage or light winds on the large umbrella diameter. The metal cam bent resulting in a constant tilt of the umbrella and then broke altogether. I now use a hose clamp or screwdriver to hold the umbrella straight. Also, the material fades easily; what was once a vibrant red is now faded after only a few months of use in fairly benign Michigan sunshine. I will buy a different brand next summer. ... show more

This umbrella is very cheaply made. After a few months of usage it started getting stuck in tilted position I filed a warranty claim within first year but Abba Patio sent me this reply: We feel so sorry we checked the warehouse for you but found the replacement parts you need are not available now. That's why we have to tell you contact amazon for help. We're not authorized for refund or return or resend for orders directly from amazon. The item is sold by amazon, which means they'll in charge of the profits and after sale service, they're the retailer who contract with us that will be responsible for the products, thanks for your understanding. I found out that Amazon is only responsible within a week of purchase date if I wanted to return it so this is complete nonsense Basically if you buy it you have no manufacturers warranty so I would stay away from this company products Also, why ask me to send pictures if they’re not authorized to refund or replace? What a waste of time! ... show more

We purchased two of the Abba 11-foot patio umbrellas back in 2017 for use in Austin, TX, where we get lots of very hot sun. We finally need to replace them almost five years later. We looked at alternatives but couldn't find any that come close to the features/quality/price combination. In addition to recommending this umbrella, we recommend that you not leave it open when not using it. This helps extend the life, especially if you live in a windy area. ... show more

Although the size of this market umbrella is perfect and it was delivered on time, the color faded within weeks (San Francisco Bay Area). Delivered on 7/27/22. Installed 8/1/22. I noticed fading before end of August and finally took pictures today, 9/23/22. The pop of (red) color was great and worked perfectly with the rest of my patio decor while it lasted, but it is now such a muted color that it looks terrible. I can only imagine how faded it will be by the time I put it away a month or so from now for winter. I doubt I will use it next year. ... show more

The only thing that I wish I had was a great stand that could hold this umbrella down. I have had a lot of issues with the wind where I work picking it up and throwing it in the air or toppling it over. It is pretty sturdy and has fell a lot and still looks great and the crank is not too hard to use. ... show more

I’ve had this umbrella since July 2019. I’ve just started using it again this summer after being in storage all winter. Unfortunately it seem to be broken already. The handle to open and close it isn’t working. I think the string in the mechanism is after tangling. This is VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
