I'm using this with my 2020 Chevy Bolt. I wired it in to 220v. I plugged it in, also turned down the charging current to 8 amps, as I'm running on solar, then plugged in the car and it charged right up. It could not have been easier, it just worked. It fit the charging port well and securely. All the components look and feel high quality. I highly recommend this charger. One note - read the users manual. It took me a minute to figure out that there is only one button for the menu navigation and settings. Once you get hang of it, it's super easy.

I've only had the unit for 6 days. But in this time it is worked without issue without overheating. I tried this unit because of the price and was hoping for the best and I did get the best. I was recommended several other units that were over $500 as of this day I'm happy that I only spent $170

I purchased this item to use at work, where our EV chargers are often occupied, but 3-prong 240-volt outlets are available to bring our own chargers as well. The charger that came with my car is a 4-prong unit and won't work without the 4th (neutral) wire present, and so I needed a 3-prong charger. This one works very well, requires no setup, and its only downside is that it charges much more slowly than at a hard-wired Level 2 charging station (16 amps vs. 30+ amps). It was necessary for me to purchase an adapter to match 3-prong outlet types.

We have 2 Chevy bolts. This charger seems to act up on both. We’ve got 2 older chargers and we’re looking to upgrade, however we have chosen to use our older ones over the lack of consistency. This one seems to work 1/2 the time
