Review Image by Justin
I've had the watch for 5 days and am beyond thrilled. I'm not an runner, but I do walk daily and use the elliptical rather routinely. I've found the GPS tracking very accurate for my daily walks with accurate measurements on the active time, steps, avg speed and calories burned. The insights from the AI coach are helpful for rest times and active times. The elliptical data is the same as my prior Samsung watch. The display is more than bright enough to see when outside and in direct sunlight. The sleep data is equally as accurate as my prior watch (but more advanced and more details). What really separates this watch is the size of the screen and the battery life. I set it up Monday morning with 70% battery life. With 5 GPS walks (30 minutes each), 3 workouts on the elliptical and wearing it to sleep every night, the battery is still at 45% after 5 entire days. I had no problems pairing with android phone. I highly recommend this watch. Update: I've been able to dive deeper into the training metrics of the watch and app. After 3+ weeks of using the watch, I've found the ZEPP AI coaching tool to be very accurate and helpful. It uses your prior day(s) workout, sleep and other data to make recommendations on when, how hard and how long to structure your current/future workouts. The workout analysis goes into great detail and provides far more insights than I use. The alerts and notifications are easy to read on the large screen (both indoors and outdoors). Overall, it is a great watch with excellent insights, coaching and standard alert/notifications. ... show more

    • Hidden gem
Amazing watch for a good price! Ive tried apple watches, fit bit, and even different models of Garmin--but this is better. I love how comfortable the watch feels when you're working out or sleeping, which makes data tracking so much easier. The watch sits comfortably during strength training, cardio, or day to day wear. Don't have to worry about battery life either. I charge maybe once or twice a month which is really convenient. Watch feels sleek and responsive. The app is well organized and has many features that many people can use! I love the display and how easy the watch feels when scrolling or looking for an app. Hidden gem for sure!! ... show more

    • Great choice....Love the watch
I love this watch. As a first smart watch purchase, I find it packed with features via resident functionality or through available apps. It is highly configurable, and very easy to navigate. I love all of the cool watch face choices offered in the app. Keeps me from getting bored with the same watch face all the time. The Zepp app is very straightforward, and connectivity has been no problem at all. Loading information between the watch and phone has been quick and flawless. If I need to know how to configure the watch to my liking, AI provides very easy instructions. There are also a lot of colored watch band options out there at very low prices. The battery life has been great, no issues. The only minor issue I have had, is trying to find a suitable screen protector for it. So far, the flexible film has worked best. There is also a tempered glass protector that I am going to try. Anyway.....I highly recommend this watch . You can't beat it for the cost. ... show more

    • Solid smartwatch that punches above its price
Stunning 1.5" AMOLED display with sharp, vibrant colors even in direct sunlight, 25-day battery life is genuinely impressive and delivers as advertised, built-in GPS maps work reliably without needing your phone nearby, lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. Cons: App ecosystem feels limited compared to Garmin or Apple Watch, some advanced health metrics lack accuracy during intense workouts. Overall a fantastic value smartwatch — the battery life and display alone justify the purchase. ... show more

    • Great watch with great features
This is an exceptional value and high capability watch. It is clever to have audio commands, to bypass the menus. I met a major goal, leave the phone home when I jog. The watch will link up to earbuds and play downloaded information from your phone. These can be either podcasts or mp3 music files. I admit, I needed AI help to find the proper URL to type in for the podcasts. The indoor skating provides heart rate and calories information, that is then sharable with Strava. That is important to me as an avid ice skater. Running, Walking, Skating are my major activities. Added bonus are nighttime displays and voice commands (long press of top button) to bypass the menus (ex: "Set a Timer for 5 minutes). Zepp provides training schedules to improve running. Lots of other features (compass, texting, phone, calendar, music control) all seem to work. Initial setup was straightforward. ... show more

    • Not just a sport watch
Excellent battery life paired with one of the brightest screens. OS is snappy and rich in useful features. 3000 nit screen is great for viewing in bright daylight. The flashlight function is one of the most used features on my watch. The light can be toggled to red as well. The sleep tracking is improved over the balance model. Find my phone is another feature that I use daily. I prefer this to apple or popular android brands. The watch itself has a nice sporty look but can also be dressed up just by changing the clock face. This is my 3rd amazfit and they just keep getting better. The price is a steal. This is a legitimate high end brand with some fantastic budget watches. Lastly, there are many accessories from 3rd party manufactures available. ... show more

    • This watch has big bang for your buck!
Review Image by Jotten32
This watch is awesome! I’ve used Apple watch for years and the battery life on that is terrible. Very different story for the Amazfit Active Max! I’ve had it for a month now and haven’t fully exhausted the battery life on this one yet. I have charged it back to full a couple times, but I’m on my 9th day now, attempting to drain the charge completely to cycle the battery, still at 27%. The Zepp app syncs with IOS health and it has so many features! I was looking at $500-$600 Garmin watches before this, but this watch does everything they do. I’ve also inadvertently banged the bezel on the countertops in my home several times, no scratches! Went for a jog the other day and the watch started a workout and mapped my run! There’s a lot of free watch faces to load to it, and very simple and quick updates. I’ve also used the phone feature to receive a call and the voice and sound were crystal clear! This is a great watch, I absolutely recommend it! ... show more

    • Not bad for the price.
Had it for about 3 weeks now. Set up was a little tricky but not too bad. The pulse reading seems pretty accurate but I'm not sure about the sleep yet. Sometimes it seems very accurate and sometimes not, so time will tell. The steps count differs quite a bit from that on my phone but I'm not sure which is the more accurate I'll test it when I get a chance. The standing time is totally off. If I stand for one hour and sit for seven it shows me standing for seven or eight hours. The worst part was the wristband. It was very uncomfortable and actually gave me a pretty bad rash so I replaced it with a flexible one. ... show more
