Been using this charger for about a week now and it's been working well so far. The built-in display is actually pretty useful since it shows charging info like voltage, amperage, and power draw right on the screen, so you can quickly check the charging status without needing an app. Just plug it in and it starts charging right away. One thing I like is the adjustable current settings. It was easy to figure out when I first started using it. On a regular 120V outlet (NEMA 5-15 or 5-20), it goes up to 12A, which is what I normally use at home. If you have access to a 240V NEMA 6-20 outlet, you can switch it to 16A for faster charging. I also tested the delay charging feature and it works pretty well. I've been using it to start charging later at night when electricity rates are lower, which has been convenient. Build quality seems solid too. The charging handle has a thick rubber grip that feels durable, and the control box feels sturdy enough for daily use. I also noticed the UL-listed markings on the plug and cable, which gives a little extra peace of mind when it comes to safety. Overall, it feels like a practical and well-made portable charger so far. I'll keep using it and update my review if anything changes over time.

Reliable Charger with a Long 25FT Cable Picked this up for $139.99 and it’s been working great with my Kia EV6. The adjustable amperage was a big reason I chose it, since continuous high-current charging can overheat older outlets. I really like that it automatically limits charging to 12A on standard 120V outlets for added safety. Build quality feels solid, with a UL-listed connector/cable, IP65-rated control box, and a convenient 25FT cable. Overall, a safe and smart portable EV charger that I’d definitely recommend.

I’ve been using this EV Charger for a little while now, and it’s a very capable unit for those looking for a flexible home/travel charging solution. The first thing I noticed was the flushed plug design. It feels very sturdy when plugged into the wall, which helps keep it securely connected without the sagging you sometimes see with heavier adapters. The 25ft cable gives plenty of reach even if I’m not parked right next to the outlet. Additionally, the connector comes with a protective cover that does a great job of keeping the pins dry and safe from the elements when not in use. The integrated display is awesome. It provides real-time stats while charging, in case your app or the car’s dashboard does not give fine grain details. I also really appreciate the ability to select the amperage directly on the unit. This is a feature that gives a lot of flexibility if you are plugging into an older circuit or a shared outlet and need to dial back the draw. While this is rated for 16A, I wasn't able to validate that specific speed as my vehicle limits the draw to 12A on a 120V connection. However, at 12A, it remained stable and didn’t overheat. I have been unable to test at 240V. There is one quirk worth noting: the unit does not seem to hold charging details, even if it remains plugged in after the session ends. Most mornings when I go to check the stats, the timer has reset and says it only charged for about 3 seconds. This means you lose the ability to see the total power (kWh) delivered to the vehicle overnight, which is a bit of a letdown if you’re trying to track your energy costs. I wish it would aggregate all of those micro sessions into the main one until the charger detects it's been unplugged from the vehicle. While it comes with a NEMA 5-15 adapter, it would be a significant value-add if it also included a couple of 220V adapter in the kit to make it truly "plug and play" for those with higher-voltage outlets available. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable charger with a fantastic display and great physical build. Just be aware of the data resetting once the charge is complete.

This level one EV charger has some nice capabilities built within that are going to be more convenient and help me save money especially since I have high on-peak charging costs through my electric company. The mere fact that it offers adjustable amperage selection helps me choose a lower amperage setup if I need to charge during on-peak hours, and it allows me to choose a higher (faster charging) amperage to charge during off-peak hours when the cost to use electricity is at it's lowest. All of this, with the press of one button. The feature that I love is simple but sweet. That is the countdown timer to charge feature. For instance, my peak hours right now are from 3-6pm. If I get home at 1pm, I don't want to plug it in and then have to unplug the charger at 3pm because prices are higher, and then re-plug again after 6pm. I can simply set it for 5 hours to delay the charge until 6pm and then plug it in. The timer counts down on the display, and when it expires, the car will begin charging. This is easier than bumping the amperage up and down for me. Conveniently, there is a display on the main unit that clearly shows that there is a delay (when it is set), and how much time until it charges at the amperage that has been previously selected). The display is very nice to have. It is color coded to let you know that it is charging, if a delay has been set, and surprisingly, when the charge is completed, it shows the total kWh that were used to charge the car during that session. There is a nice bag that holds the charger and the adapter. It has two strong one-way Velcro strips across the back, which can be stuck to the back of some seats that can support it. This is a great charger that has replaced my Level 1 charger that I received from the factory with my car. I love the timer feature.

I plugged it into the outlet, connected it to the vehicle, and charging began without needing any apps, accounts, or complicated setup. I already have home charging, but I wanted something portable for backup situations because EV anxiety is real sometimes, especially during longer drives or unfamiliar areas. The adjustable current feature made me feel a little more comfortable using different setups safely, and the longer cable gave way more flexibility than shorter chargers. I also appreciated that it felt straightforward to use instead of overly technical or intimidating. The portability is honestly the biggest selling point for me because it’s one of those “hope I don’t need it but glad I have it” items. Now I keep it in the car and feel significantly less stressed about charging situations overall. Which honestly is half the EV ownership battle sometimes.
