The media could not be loaded. Got it on a coupon for $139.99, and it’s a fantastic deal — way more affordable than Tesla’s own chargers, and it works better. It defaults to 16A on a 120V outlet, which is great if you're using a 20A circuit (as many garages have). That gives you the fastest Level 1 charging speed possible. My outlet is only on a 15A breaker, though. I can manually lower the current to 12A in the Tesla settings or app, but even if I don’t, the charger seems smart enough to automatically step down from 16A to 12A shortly after starting. After that, it charges smoothly the whole time. It comes with a nice carry bag and the extra-long cable is a nice touch, I can easily reach outlets farther from the charge port. Also, even after hours of charging, the plug, cable, and charger body stay cool to the touch (tested both on 120V and 240V). Build quality feels solid, and the handle button opens the charge port on my Model Y every time — honestly, more reliably than my Tesla Wall Connector does.Awesome value for its price! If anything changes, I’ll update this review.

After 2 failed attempts testing out adapters for my NEMA 14-50, I caved & bought this Level 1 charger for my 2024 BMW X5 xDrive50i (was $103 during Prime Week). It feels well made, sturdy, but not too heavy.. & best of all, it works! It is obviously not going to be as fast as a Level 2 charger, but with our current breaker box setup it is going to be pricey to put an EV charger in our garage, and I’m not sure I want to charge it in the driveway. From 0% to a full charge, it takes about 26 hours. I am home during the day & mainly drive in the city so it’s working out so far. I like the storage bag with handle that it comes with; keeps the cable organized & easy to keep in the back of the car for use when traveling.

The media could not be loaded. Really good. Full charge at level 1 in 20 hours. Also you get $20 off with the coupon. I don't have to visit superchargers anymore. I save about $400 a month between my two Tesla Y's. Great value product.

This charger works really well. One of the things that sets this apart from others is a lack of an app which is a bummer. Being able to control your charger remotely and the needing to walk to it physically whether it be outside or in a garage/car port is a bit of an inconvenience when compared to other chargers in the same form-factor, speed, and category. The ability to choose either level 1 or level 2 with the adapters is a great feature since I'm using this as a portable on-the-go charger. You never know what options you will have at your destination especially when traveling. The charging aspect works great and on level 2 I get the advertised 16amps. It does come with wall mounts in the event you want to make this a more permanent charger. In the event you are looking at this being more of a portable on-the-go type of charger it works great especially with the nice case that this comes with. Overall if you are needing a charger for your Tesla this is a great choice. 16amps is slow but may work great for those who don't drive often. All in all minus the lack of an app for control the screen works well, the buttons are intuitive and it's not hard to get up and running. Functionality: The ability to charge with multiple outlets is great for a portable charger like this as it allows you to be more flexible where charging.

Using it to charge My Tesla (Adapter needed) and Mustang Mach-E. comes with a nice zippered storage bag and an adapter to use it on 120V outlets.and the charger does exactly what it's supposed to do. looks well-made and the cable seems strong and sturdy. I’m an electrician, and I really pay attention to electrical safety. In North America, circuits should only be loaded to 80% of their capacity. a NEMA 5-15 (Level 1) outlet should never exceed 12A. That’s exactly why I chose this charger. It has an LED screen and adjustable current settings, so I can manually keep it under 12A when charging in my garage. I’ve seen too many chargers damage outlets because they don’t follow safety standards. When I plugged it into a 5-15 outlet, I was impressed to see that it even seemed to automatically limit the current to 12A. That’s a smart and safe design — very well done. And I saw the UL certified marked on charging cable, that’s as high as it gets in safety here. Seriously, you can’t ask for more. Overall, this charger is both smart and safety-focused — exactly what you want for reliable charging at home. Highly recommended.

Summary: This is a great value mobile car charger for charging your Tesla vehicle on the road/work or wherever there is only a 110v outlet. Build Quality: When I opened up the box for this unit it was well packaged with a very hefty long cable. So what I noticed was the end that plugs in is lighter than the Tesla OEM plug, I actually like that because I have dropped my Tesla one when I hung it on the wall. It was just too heavy so this unit having a lighter plug is a big plus in my book. Performance: I was only able to test this using my 110v outlet since I didn't have an adapter compatible with the power brick to use a 14-50 outlet. This unit plugs right in and using the gun was so easy. Plugging and unplugging was simple as press of a button. I charged my 2023 model Y easily using this plug. Quality: The wire is thick so this will deliver years of usage when you are at home or traveling with this mobile charger. I liked the Digital display showing me exactly the info I needed to keep me informed while I charge. I found that to be quiet helpful knowing that ths has stats that I can easily review without having to open an opp or go into the car to retrieve the information. Conclusion: This is a great value mobile wall charger that I'll be taking with me when I hit the road on road trips.
