  • Solid with reliability.
This Tesla Supercharger is exactly what I was looking for on my trip to the south. You will be thankful to yourself when you really need it handy. The price is very reasonable and it charges very fast as mentioned in the description. You can go to any charging station and add this adapter to charge from NACS to CCS. The workmanship is very solid for long lasting reliability. ... show more

  • Works great but plug adapter into vehicle first
Worked great on my trip to San Antonio last week in my 2025 Ford Lightning Flash using 9 Tesla superchargers getting an average of .33 per kwh with my 12.99 a month nontesla membership that I will now cancel but can be started and stopped for any monthly periods I want. Much better than .58 per kwh others want. Had a false start the first time. Used the ABRP app to plan my trip with Tesla as my preferred network. Used the Tesla app to find the Tesla supercharger station and pick the number of the charger I pulled up to. Have to plug the adapter into the pickup first thing when pulling up. Then check to see if the cord reaches as they are short. I kept having to pull up close and off to the side of the charger. Once I know the cord will reach then I put in the number and letter for that charger such as 3D then push the start charging button on the app. It will say to take the cord and plug it into your vehicle (really the adapter already in your vehicle). Then it will say to wait while it starts charging which might take a minute. Then monitor from in the pickup, the Tesla app, or the ford app while you go into the truck stop. It will go from 20 to 80% in less than a half hour and will get to 85 or 90 in another 15 to 30 minutes. After 90 it is much slower but 90 is enough. I usually went to 85%. Tesla chargers were spaced so I was driving 120 to 150 miles down the interstate at 80 mph. ... show more

  • Solid charging adapter
I've just usedthis adapter for the 1st times at local super charger station with no issues. It is built solidly, and seems to handle high current without any major heat issues. Can't comment on durability yet, but from what I have observed so far, this will hold up fine. Nice thing is it does come with a sizable puch for storing the unit. Very handy. ... show more

  • Non Teslas can’t really charge at Tesla
You can’t actually use the a Tesla network. Waste of money. I bought this for a road trip across the southwestern US where there are very sparse EV charging stations. So as an integral part of my trip I planned to charge in Page AZ at the Tesla charger since there are no other operational chargers for 140 miles. Only after getting there did I find out Tesla won’t actually let me charge there. So while this item seems to be quality and did click into place on my car and on the Tesla plug, it is effectively useless. Please don’t waste your money if you are planning to have this as backup for a trip. It won’t work. Only a few select Tesla chargers will let you charge there and they aren’t the ones you need. That was an expensive tow to Flagstaff. ... show more

  • Works Great So Far
I drive a 2023 Chevy Bolt (which is a fantastic city car.) I've had it for just under a year and haven't really taken any trips over 25 miles. I have a level 2 charger in my garage, so I almost never use public charging stations. I know the Bolt is not ideal for long road trips, bug my wife and I plan on taking a few weekend getaways with the Bolt this year. I decided to bite the bullet and get a NACS adapter to open us up to more charging stations, since I live in a part of the Midwest without the robust charging infrastructure of the West Coast or Northeast. This one was about $80 less than the Lectron version, but I was still a little nervous about it being a subpar piece of equipment. Well, my fears were allayed when I tested it out yesterday. The adapter fit perfectly. It feels solid and well made, and comes in a nice zip up case that I keep in the sub-trunk area of my Bolt. The supercharger station was in a grocery store parking lot, so I set it up and went shopping. Came back in 25 minutes and the adapter was slightly warm to the touch but not at all hot. It was about 70 F outside. I recommend making sure you have the Tesla app downloaded on your phone and have an account created with payment updated before you go just to relieve any headaches the first time. Supercharger cords are indeed as short as people say, so if you have a front charging panel like I do make sure you pull up as close to the charger as possible. Happy travels! (Only leaving a four star review because I've just used it once, so if it continues to work well I'll probably upgrade to five.) ... show more

Good price. Connected seamlessly with my Cadillac Lyriq and worked flawlessly with the Tesla Supercharger. I like how it came with a nice case for storage.

  • Go Go Gadget!
If like me, you have an electric car other than a Tesla, you’re probably familiar with the fact that charging at non-Tesla EV chargers on the road is a less than pleasant experience most of the time. I have never been to one of those chargers where I was not the person explaining or the person being explained to how to use them. Oh, and that’s when they work, because a whole lot of them are broken most of the time. Oh, and you have to have each of the multiple companies’ proprietary apps and create accounts with each of them and give them your credit card before you can use them, which is ridiculously bothersome because there are so many different brands of them! Criticize Elon’s politics all you want (or not), but Tesla has done a great job of building a Supercharging network. And now their NACS has become the de facto standard for electric car charging. So why do I love this little adapter? Because now I can use Tesla’s vast network of superchargers! My family and I used to have some reservations about taking the electric car on trips because of the previously terrible non-Tesla network of chargers. No more! Now you just get the Tesla app, get one of these, and roll up to the supercharger for a quick and (relatively) inexpensive charge. And another thing, this one comes with the case, and it is outrageously less expensive than what the dealership wanted to charge me for a branded one for my car. Go go gadget! ... show more
