They are a bit transparent but that is something I was suspecting from the photos and description therefore there worked perfectly. I ordered ones that were too short and that was my bad, but when I trued to see if maybe I could figure out a way to use them they were so staticky any draping just turned flat. There might have been a way to get rid of the static but I just returned them and found other fabric that worked for me
