I just used this tiller for the first time and I must say it is impressive. For such a small and fairly lightweight unit, it packs a punch. It dug down at least 8-9 inches in the soil and even cut through several roots that were left over from a tree that we had taken down last year. I was able to till my 8' by 16' garden twice over in just under an hour and that is with the soil being very compacted. Also, the assembly was easy and toolless. Folds up nicely for storage. Didn't have enough power to till some hard pack. Easy to assemble and appeared it would work, but just didn't. Can't blame product, as it probably can only work on topsoil or garden soil. Just know what you're expecting it to do before buying.
