    • Don’t buy Ryobi from Amazon.
This was remanufactured but was shipped without all the parts. Then Ryobi customer service told me the part was out of stock. Bad business. Ban on Ryobi and Amazon.

Wish I would have taken a before picture. Just mowed the tall grass down then tilled. With very little time spent did a great job even with all the rocks we have. This was just to try it out. Works great so far!

    • Disappointing
The media could not be loaded. Worked fine for 5 minutes, then it sounded like a car crash. The sound of twisted metal. Took it apart to check the problem and found that it tore itself into two pieces. I used this after plowing the dirt, so the dirt was lose and was already broken up in chunks.

This is a lightweight tiller that works fine for smallish jobs. However, the plastic handle that turns the unit on broke after using it about 10 times.

    • More of a toy than a tool
Would you try to drive a nail with a tack hammer? That's what this is: a tack hammer. First of all it's corded, which they don't put on the box, which makes it so light it won't penetrate soil. You have to push and pull and twist and move it around, takes much longer and is way more work than a heavier machine. I did that on some topsoil and compost for a long time, measured how deep it'd gone, and it was only 4 inches. So if you want something light for scratching the surface. go for it. If you really want to cultivate? I'm gonna go rent a real machine. ... show more
