The weights were fine but the stand turned out to be cheap plastic (in the photo looked more substantial) and its assembly was made difficult because the screws had to installed in holes that were not pre-tapped so had to screw in.

I'm very pleased with the stand it came with, it looked a little rickety at first, but once you screw the pieces together, it holds nicely and sturdily. So yes the stand is flimsy, but if you use some epoxy and longer screws it goes together easily and is now rock solid. I love that the ends are not round and so don't roll.

The rack is cheap plastic, but the dumbells do the job. Only issue is too much weight for the cheaply made rack.
