Love this bad boy. This machine out did my doubts of what it can do. I was shopping around looking to find a strong pressure washer because we own a cleaning company that also does exterior cleaning. So I seen so many that were up there in price and the PSI with the GPM were not as close as I wanted them to be. For those that are on the field and do pressure washing we know that GPMs is what is most important because it allows us to work smarter not harder. Not saying PSI doesn't matter because it very much does. But GPM is whats going to make you move faster and cover more Sqft. I seen one at Lowe’s and I was so close to get it and I said “let me try Amazon”. I came on here and found this one that is 4400 PSI with 4.0 GPM. No brainer. This here is a perfect fit and match for those that are starting in the commercial realm of PW. Once you get yourself some profit you can invest on the 8.0GPM and more PSI but this one here is perfect. Thank you SIMPSON for making such a great product. ... show more

I'd LOVE to tell you how good this Power Washer is BUT Amazon keeps sending out a XXL DOG KENNEL instead of the power washer! TWICE now they have tried to bait and switch me with a DOG KENNEL. I haven't been able to get ANY pressure out of the DOG KENNEL! Not sure where to even screw on my water hose to it... Doesn't come with a spray wand or any hose at all. Seems VERY quiet though, it doesn't even have an exhaust pipe! This must be the new California compliant series... The DOG seems to like it though. ... show more

Since I bought it I have used it for home projects as well as my work it works the pressure is really good easy to add and change attachments this machine provides easy transportation the wheels are big and appearance is big as powerful I would recommend 100 percent good quality for your money

    • A Real Workhorse At A Great Price

First, let me say that I would give the PowerShot 4400 five stars if the operators manual was much better written. There is so much that the manual leaves out that left me fumbling trying to get this unit to work properly. Fortunately, I found some good videos on YouTube that explained the intricacies of setting up this unit and operating it. Once I had all the information I needed everything went well. I was spoiled because my current power washer is a Stihl which doesn't require squeezing the trigger on the wand, in order to be able to pull the recoil rope easily to get the unit to start on the first or second pull. If you don't squeeze the trigger while you're pulling the rope, there is too much back pressure created by the compression resistance inside the engine to get enough force to turn the engine over. All the videos I watched state that you must squeeze the trigger while pulling the rope to turn the engine over. Other than that, everything about this unit is extremely high quality. The only thing I am going to add to this pressure washer is a PSI gauge so that I can tone down the PSI for delicate jobs. The PSI gauge typically costs between $20 and $30 and with the quick connect feature should be very easy to install and remove. This unit is a beast and if you plan on lifting it, you better be a hefty man or woman. I'm about 160 pounds and in my 70s. This is not something that I ever want to have to lift into my truck. Even with the second person it's almost too heavy for me. So I would say if you're not that strong, and you want to be able to lift the unit occasionally, or with the help of a neighbor or friend, you might want to consider getting something a little bit lighter in weight. I have an aluminum ramp that I bought at Harbor Freight which is 84 feet long and it makes it easy to roll it up and down. I have seen power washers that are no better than the Simpson PS4400 that costs over $2300. I think spending the extra money is a complete waste, unless you are a very serious commercial professional that requires the absolute best. I personally don't see the benefit of spending the extra money. This system packs an awfully powerful punch for the money spent. I am very pleased. ... show more

    • Don't waste your time!!!

Item was delivered damaged, tire fell off because the wheel mounting kit was broken off. After fixing the wheel to stay on (using parts I had in my stock). I ran the machine (it ran horribly) found out that the set screw that holds the regulator was missing so I am guessing it applied too much pressure and broke the pump. Found spring parts in the strainer and upon further examination I found that one of the plastic valves in the pump manifold had broken. Amazon will not take back this product because it is hazardous, so you have to contact the manufacture. Called Simpson and they said to contact a service department, they referred me to a place that said "they would never work with Simpson again". Called Simpson back and was given another place that is one hour away from me and they can't do the warranty work for two weeks. Now I am stuck with a no good broken right out of the box pressure washer that I have only owned for two hours. I would highly not recommend this product to anyone and if Amazon knew what was good for them they wouldn't sell this product with the extremely low build quality and complete lack of customer support for a new machine out of the box. Also Simpson will not send any of the necessary parts needed to fix it if you are just the end user. ... show more

Easy assembly of handles and hose. Starts quick with correct choke and fuel settings. Lots of cleaning power, over 17,000, with adjustable pressure. Roll/spread out hose before you start the engine - it is a great heavy duty design and you will want the length you need spread out before it is under 4400psi of pressure. No leaks from any fittings.
