Just like a car...sewing machines need oil
Singer oil is the perfect companion for a purring sewing machine. A few drops will give you mileage on your machine. Following instructions on the needed areas is recommended. And the good part? It works perfectly on any machine. The price is just perfect, as it's size.

This has become a difficult item to find, along with thimbles. I was happy to find this. It was a good price and food amount of oil. It also works well on outdoor tools.

Great machine oil. I use a Singer heavy duty machine and I like using Singers products to use and maintain it. The only issue I have with this oil is the tip. The packaging is cooler that the white and red bottle (which I am not going to be ashamed to say was why I went with this product), but the ti
p is terrible. You snip the top and then reseal with this little red cap. First off, if you lose the cap it’s game over. Even if you don’t, the bottle tips over and slowly leaks oil everywhere. I keep it in a gross, greasy zip lock bag now. Do yourself a favor and buy the white and red bottle version. It has a nice flip up spout and it flips securely closed after use.

I rarely write reviews. Anything with Singer’s name on it is fantastic. However the bottle is difficult to open. If you’re weak, I doubt you can initially pull the cap off without assistance. Having done this you will find it nearly impossible to puncture the application tip. I used a single razor bl
ade to cut a small piece the tip off - do not remove too much - if you remove the snap ring collar the bottle cap won’t stay on when replaced afterwards.

Goodly sized bottle. Came enclosed in plastic. Should be enough for me to last a lifetime as infrequent sew.

I have a very old sewing machine that hadn't been used for quite some time. After replacing a belt that was dry rot, oiled my machine. Works like a charm!
