    • Great for door hinge squeaks
A great handyman told me to purchase sewing machine oil for the occasional doors that squeak. Just apply some oil at the hinges and wipe off. Really get in there with the oil and keep swinging the door around to lube it up and it'll stay squeak free for years.

    • Good machine oil for multiple projects, even PC fans if you can find their lubrication points.
This has stopped the squeaking/buzzing of two fans and one door already. It is a clear fluid, feels thin (or maybe I shouldn't try to judge oils' viscosity), and free of any scent. I doubt you could easily squirt to apply but the bottle is small enough to manuever into tight spaces. If you need tigher, you can unscrew it and pour it into something else. I do not have a sewing machine. My PC's power supply fan had been making the buzzing/squeaking sounds that fans do when they need new/more oil. ***After seeing in the video where I needed to apply the oil*** I was able to add just a few drops and it solved the issue completely. It also worked on a ceiling fan and door hinge. Most every video on oiling a PC fan would list a couple different oils to use, but I think ALL of them said "sewing machine oil." ... show more

LOVE Singer brand products. So I just recently purchased a vintage singer, sewing machine and I wanted to give an overhaul but couldn’t find parts or maintenance pieces. I turned Amazon and low and behold, I found all kinds of things to hook this machine up, including this oil.
