The first issue that I had with this guitar was that I ordered the black one and received the starburst one. I had waffled back and forth between the two designs enough that I decided it wasn't worth quibbling about. However, the principal is still the same that I didn't get the style that I ordered. The guitar comes with a case, a strap, and a cord to hook it to an amplifier. That's it. It doesn't have a tuning aid, or even a single pic. It would be nice if it had a simple cord fingering guide, since it is listed as a beginners guitar. Still, it's relatively inexpensive, seems to be of a reasonable quality, the starburst design is attractive, the soft case is Handy. And there are plenty of free how to guide you available online for beginners learning with the guitar. For the look and the price I can recommend this guitar for beginners. It's just nice to note that you need to buy accessories like a tuner and a pic or pics and make some kind of arrangements for lessons or resources online.

Plays very well for the price, also very light. Lighter than I expected. I haven’t hooked it up to an amp to see how that works but for the most part it’s a solid guitar.

The full size body feels comfortable to hold and the setup is approachable for someone just learning with decent sound for practice and casual playing the included accessories like the bag strap and cable make it easy to get started without buying extra gear build quality is solid for the price though not at a professional level tuning stability is acceptable once set up properly and it handles basic styles well a good entry point if you want an affordable guitar that covers the essentials without overcomplicating things

I'm honestly shocked at how good these "beginner" guitars have become. It's day and night from what I remember when I was a lot younger. People were relentlessly mocked for their budget guitars, unless it was something like a shop class project. You had to go into serious debt to prove you were a serious musician! The old joke, "What do you call a guitarist without a girlfriend? Homeless." Now? I can order a budget beginner guitar that I was able to take out of the packaging fairly quick, tune, and play without making any adjustments. Not to mention one that has two humbuckers, a three way pickup select, and a solid set of strings. And there was no fret buzz anywhere down the line, on any strings. No oddly high actions or other weird "factory" settings. Just a straight to the point, no nonsense guitar that feels good to play. Has a nice weight to it that makes it feel especially sturdy, but not so much weight that it's awful to play standing. But it's also lovely to play sitting with its body shape and neck that fits perfectly in your lap. And speaking of the neck, it's beautiful, smooth, and doesn't have any burs on the frets. Again, I didn't have to adjust the truss in it or anything else. Anywhere! It just shipped out well made, well packaged, and I suspect there must have been a good quality assurance person with an eye for details involved too. The gig bag feels like it's higher quality as well. It actually stands under its own weight, as you can sort of see from the photo. All of that certainly makes up for the additional pieces you'll need if this is your very first guitar. But Donner is a solid brand with a solid guitar. You can easily find a tuner app or get an amp with one built in relatively cheap. Though if you just started learning, not having an amp for awhile can actually be a plus. I definitely recommend slowly working up confidence on the fretboard before going loud! Then you can refine what you've been practicing with what you hear, because amplifiers can be daunting to just jump into. That G chord you swear you played identically every time? All of a sudden it has a lot more depth and you can hear every subtle difference. But pretty much anything can be used as a pick if you need one!

So much here. You get the guitar. Very carefully packed. The tag has the chords on it, portable and handy. There is an instruction book in the guitar case. I love that it comes with a strap, and that was easy to put on. I have an acoustic guitar and getting an electric version of that was on my mind. This, of course,e is a regular electric guitar. I don’t have the little box that it plugs into. But when I used the amp cord with a speaker that I had,d I got to hear how it sounds and so did everyone else in the house! I chose the sleek black style and it is really gorgeous. I am not great at playing guitar but it's thinner and a little heavier than my acoustic one. The only thing missing really, is the amplifier. And that part depends on you. I have it in my office in the bag, I can put it on my guitar stand to keep it aligned and safe. The bag is easy to carry by hand or you can put it on your back. So glad it came with instructions so I can understand the switch and the dials. Lots of great music can be played once all the chord are learned. Beautiful add to my musical instrument collection.
