Better your Life Starts fine, but stalls when I press the throttle or open the choke. Why? Usually not a defect. Check: 1.Warm up 60s (<15°C: half choke). 2.Clean/replace fuel filter. 3.Clean/adjust carburetor. 4.Clean tank vent. 5.Tighten intake screws. My brand-new machine won't start. What should I check? Check: Correct starting procedure (new machines often flood). Fuel/oil ratio: 40:1. Never-used machine? Clear flooding and restart. Still won't start? Send a starting video + serial number photo. We'll arrange a replacement power unit. The blade spins, but it stops when touching branches or grass and cannot cut. What's wrong? Check in this order: 1.Blade loose or damaged – retighten or replace. 2.Blade tangled with debris – clean it thoroughly. 3.Cutting diameter exceeds the machine's rated capacity – check the manual and use a more powerful machine if needed. The engine won't hold idle after returning from high speed, or it stalls and won't restart until it cools down. Try these: 1.Below 15°C: warm up 60 sec at mid-low speed. 2.Adjust carburetor idle (see video guide). 3.Clean the air filter. 4.Tighten the carburetor mounting screws. Still not working? Replace the carburetor. Some parts are damaged or missing upon arrival. What should I do? 1.Within one year: send photos of damaged parts and your order number. I've always owned either Stihl or Echo yard tools, but while shopping online, some Proyama review videos started popping up on YouTube. That got me seriously looking at Proyama and their entire line of outdoor power equipment. Since I was in need of a pole saw, hedge trimmer, and brush cutter, I decided to give this 42.7cc multi-function tool a try. I definitely could not beat the price since similar tools & accessories from Stihl or Echo would have easily cost several hundred dollars more. The package arrived within a couple days and it only took me about 30 minutes to put everything together and have it ready to run. The motor fired up on the 3rd pull and sounded awesome. The first thing I tested was the string trimmer which worked great. The motor on this thing feels and sounds very powerful. The power head is a bit heavy, by really not much more than my Stihl string trimmer which only has a 28.4cc motor. I love the shoulder harness that comes with the Proyama, it's very comfortable and spreads the weight across both shoulders. The next thing I tested was the pole saw. This is something I've never owned before, and I really needed one. Switching from the string trimmer head to the pole saw (with extension) was quick and easy. Again, the shoulder harness helped with weight and I felt like I had very good control of the saw while cutting high above my head. The spline drive system felt solid and I never lacked power while trimming a large tree in front of my house. Adjusting the chain tension and oil flow was simple and worked well. The chain is very sharp and cut through all the branches very quickly. I like the large on/off switch which is very easy to access while holding the power head. I also love the quick release pull tab on the shoulder harness so you don't have to fiddle with the clip when trying to set the tool down quickly. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test the brush cutter or hedge trimmer yet, but I'm really looking forward to both because I have a lot of thorns and brush to clear out at the back of my yard to make a path to my new firepit area. And when it's time to trim some bushes around the house, the tilting hedge trimmer head should work out very nicely. To be honest, before purchasing this tool, I was a little concerned about the quality because of the low price and it's a brand I had never heard of before. But I can tell you, for the average home owner (and even professionals), Proyama offers an excellent value and I'm very happy I took a chance on buying this tool. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a face shield, hearing protection, gloves, fuel mixing bottle, a handy toolkit, AND a large duffle bag to carry & store it all in! I'm also pleased to report I was able to test out Proyama customer support and they were great! There was an issue with the pole saw head unit out of the box, but I emailed support and got a response very fast. They resolved the issue quickly and to my full satisfaction. I plan to sell my Stihl string trimmer and my Cub Cadet push-behind string trimmer because the Proyama can easily replace them and provide so much more functionality that I need around the house. I'm definitely a fan of Proyama tools now!

This thing is a beast! I have had a chance to use all of the attachments now and I am impressed. The ergonomics aren't perfect but there are vertical handles that can be added to fix that problem. It takes a little bit of time and effort to learn how to use the extension poles and get everything to work the way it should, or maybe that was just me. It's does have plenty of power and will take care of just about anything you need. The three blade brush cutter and carbide tipped blade are cheap and not the most durable but cut well until I worked them to death. There are better attachments that can be bought for it that last longer and cut just as well. My neighbor has a Stihl that one attachment costs more than this entire kit and it doesn't do anything that the proyama can't do. I just wish that there was a blower attachment with it and then I would call it a truly complete system. I don't know if it would hold up to commercial use but for a homeowner trying to reclaim property that has been neglected for years I am happy with this purchase.

Edit 12/20/24 - pole saw attachment did excellent on some black walnut branches few inches thick. Husband wanted this to help clear up fence line brush and to trim around our lagoon. This unit is a beast. We've probably got close to 25-30 hours on it and it's made a significant dent. Have used on brush, limbs, and small brush trees, up to 3" in diameter, cuts great. First use took a few tries to get started but now usually starts on second pull. Going to try the pole saw in December on some higher tree limbs so will update then. The carrying harness is absolutely needed for fatigue, this unit has some weight to it. Bought the extended warranty so hopefully this bad boy keeps up, we've got a lot of fence line. Good tool for farm.

The good: Ample length of extensions would make reaching different jobs much easier. The bad: - Seems like something one would order from Temu. The construction and the type of plastics used. Very cheap plastics. Even uses plastic around the head assembly instead of a metal collar. - It is quite heavy, though that weight helps balance out when you have a lot of extensions/tools attached to the other end of it. - The worst part though the cheap plastics are what the throttle trigger assembly is made out of. Throttle was DOA due to this, not fixable as the channel the throttle cable fits in was damaged. As such this is the extent of which I can review it as it is incapable of doing anything more than idling.

It's getting really hard to find good gas weed eaters on Amazon. This one might be one of the last remaining contenders. I needed to clear out 1K Sqft of garden that had been neglected for 2 years, this thing earned it's keep. Surveillance system pictures of the job, with my esteemed helpers. The good: Takes a bit of time to assemble, but it's easy, came with everything/tools you'll need, super straightforward. I really like that this motor takes standard 50:1 fuel, *not* 25:1 like most the other varieties of weed eaters on Amazon I found. WTF is that? When you fire the thing up, make sure you have the trigger lock on, it holds the trigger down juuuust enough to give the engine some running fuel at full choke in the cold. The trimmer line bump head is very well designed (with one slight exception, keep reading), the two strings come off two separated sections of reel, unlike most other trimmers I've used that comingle all the line on one reel, where it gets all welded together in a tangled mess. When you fire this thing up, it's a huge motor. The exhaust note is deep, it sounds more like a dirt bike than a trimmer. And it certainly has all the power. This thing replaced a troy built with half the motor, and I can definitely tell. It will take several yards or the largest trimmer line you can find. Swapping between the string head and various blades is also super easy, just remember the threads are reversed on the bottom nut, there's a well-placed spindle lock to assist. I also like that there are grease nipples on all the bearings, though there's no reference as to what kind of grease to use, or after how many hours. The mitigated: The bump head on the string trimmer attachment would not advance line out of the box. Super frustrating and disheartening. But, on further inspection, I found that the lugs on the spool were simply too tall, both as they engaged in the top housing of the bump head, and with the rotating plastic housing that spins to release line. The bump head would compress, but not enough for the lugs to disengage to allow the spool to rotate and free up more line. I just used a boot rasp and filed them down by half a smidge and now everything works great. Tangentially, the ear muffs and face screen are absolute garbage, just throw them directly in the trash. But that's not why you bought this. What I want: - Need to know the grease to use in the bearings, and the maintenance/hours schedule - don't send the ear muffs or face shield, give me a better harness, this thing is heavy!! - hole on the hedge trimmer/chainsaw attachments so I can hang them on the wall - I'm going to wear out the string trimmer head (I'm hard on them) I want to buy a few more, make a SKU

UPDATE: I'm providing an update to this item after owning and using it extensively for two weeks now. I've used 4 of the 5 attachments now; hedge trimmer, tri-star edger, circular saw blade and finally the chain saw. Everything has worked very well and I've tamed a lot of my property. I'm not sure why so many people have complained about the power unit not starting or staying started. It has cranked up for me a couple of dozen times now after about 3 pulls. I'm using the red can Tru-Fuel 50:1 that can be found at your big box stores like HD. I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy again. 100% recommend. So I'm writing this after just cranking it up with the saw blade and tamed an area that's on an incline in front of our home. It's an area with lots of blackberry mean-as-all-get-out thorny vines that's thicker than thieves with a lot of overgrown rag weed, goldenrod and some other wicked wiry vines. I'm tired. It is heavy and I'm having a hard time typing...hahaha! PROS: - Packaged well - All the equipment was included as the picture shows - Fired right up after 3 pulls (using 50:1 TruFuel in the red can at HD) CONS: - Instructions on what extension rod goes with what tool kinda sucks. If you're mechanically inclined you'll figure it out if you just take your time - Heavy...use the harness - 10" chainsaw blade cover (orange) was almost folded in half in the box So I said it was heavy and it is. What I'm telling you next is not to brag about me, but to give you a point of reference to physically compare yourself when making a fair determination on whether to get this one or the next size down (26 cc I think). I work out a lot. I'm not a body builder, but I'm 63, run/walk 7 miles a week, lift weights 4 to 5 times a week. With a spotter I can bench about 180. I can curl about 80 pounds 5 or 6 times in a row. I can perform about 4 or 5 seated presses of 100 pounds. So I'm not a weakling and I'm not a hulk. So if you go with this one, get ready. The only attachment/tool I've used at the time of this writing is the weedeater attachment with the circular saw blade. It was slicing right through everything. I even tried it on some small trees that were about 4" to 5" in diameter. I think what wore me out the most after about 20 minutes of use were the vines getting tangled up in the weedeater guard and I had to keep pulling it out of the tangle. I'm not advising that you would do this for safety's sake, but I'm going to try it to see if it will glide through the brush better without getting hung on all the vines on the back stroke. If I have any more CONS or PROS to add after more use I'll update my post. Do I recommend this product? HECK YEAH! But for normal weedeating around my landscaping I'll probably continue to use my smaller gas-powered Ryobi. I can't really see using this beast for small jobs like trimming grass around my landscaping. It's hard enough with the smaller one here in this Alabama heat in the summertime.

I will update rating when customer service issue is resolved with parts or a replacement pole saw is provided Great beast of a brush cutter that has run flawlessly, it eats through everything with the included blades, the string trimmer and bump head work fine too. The only one issue and it’s with the pole saw attachment, it is unusable. I filled it with bar oil after assembly and it doesn't oil. I went to adjust the oiler and the oiler screw does nothing, the screw is just sitting in the hole not attached to anything, and is not threaded. Seems like a quality control miss and was never assembled properly It’s a good machine so far and I’ve used it for about 8 hours total after proper break In on three different occasions I haven’t tried the hedge trimmer All the accessories are cheap, the harness works pretty well, blades are fine, everything is of slightly lower quality than the real thing but the price is right Look over it when you get it No problems starting it or setting it up, however the connections between tools/ extensions had to be adjusted for the pin to lock in every extension.
