I have to say, this chainsaw did not disappoint. Comes fully assembled and ready to go, just filled with fuel and chain oil and it was go time. I've had it out a few times now gathering firewood from fallen trees, it powers right through everything that I've cut, including newly felled pine at about 15" in diameter. Started right up after adding some oil and gas. Had a slight initial issue with chain being too tight, but after fixing that, I used it hard for about 3 hours in some VERY thick logs and did a nice job. Starting each time was great - no issues. I wish there was a little less plastic on it (for the long-term use), but it was a work horse when I used it so far. More to saw so will update later. Would I buy another one? For sure! ... show more

I typically buy Remington chain saws never had a problem. I wanted something with a little more power so I bought my first and last Husqvarna. I followed instructions to the letter. I started it and used it for 10 minutes stopped to check the chain and ran it for about 20 minutes after that I couldn't get it to start I let it set for 48 hours and tried again and still couldn't get it to start. And apparently Amazon and Husqvarna won't let me return this POS so you definitely lost me as a customer back to Remington they build a simple to start easy to run chain saw at half the price I paid for this Husqvarna POS. ... show more

Cuts through large 20" round with no trouble at all. Using the engineered fuel, following directions, everything fired up and works as expected. The clutch brake cover is metal and unlike the cheaper chainsaws, will hold up without a meltdown. It's well worth the cost. The last 2 cost the same as this one. Need to cut up some serious things? Need to attack zombies at range? Stupid battery-powered chainsaws meant for weaker wrists let you down? Want to be able to justify wearing plaid? This monstrosity is your bestie. With the 20" X-Cut chain/bar combination you can tackle even the largest most angry of fallen branches. The first day it arrived i topped off all the fluids (it really likes ethanol-free gas) and set to work on clearing some raw land and trimming trees in preparation for building animal pens. I don't know if you have ever been to South Texas, but there are WALLS of foliage and plants, it's tropical here. Even the mesquite trees on my property are the size of oaks with 24" diameter limbs. Mesquite they build tables out of, even dead on the tree the limbs are extremely hard and will destroy lesser chainsaws, forget axes. The first day i cut/trimmed/processed 8 cords of mesquite firewood, and cut down hundreds of spikey brush, hawthorn and persimmon. you practically touch anything under 4" in diameter and it just passes through like a red lightsaber through an old mentor. Love this chainsaw! Plenty of power, starts super easy and cuts fast. Comparable to a stihl chainsaw but I feel like the husqvarna has a wider power band and gives you more lower end power and less kick back. Also is lighter machine than a stihl that’s comparable.
