I had planned to use this to charge my Anker 521 and 522 power stations in the car for long trips, they both have DC 7909 ports. The issue I ran into is that the DC 7909 plug on this cable is too short, about 1/4 inch shorter than the male plug that came with the Anker 521/522 AC wall adapter so it doesn't go in as deep. The plug barely fits in the Anker port and a slight vibration could cause it to pop loose from the Anker. To fix it, I used a razor blade to remove a small plastic ring that is at the base of the 7909 plug (see picture where the stub is partially removed). It now fits a little tighter but still not fully seated in the Anker, but at least it's not likely to pop off as easily when vibrated. I took off one star since they specifically mentioned Anker and DC 7909 in their ad. Users with Jackery power stations may not have this problem, but I don't have Jackery so I can't say for sure. Otherwise, the cable is very well built, using 14-gauge wire which is more than enough to handle the approximately 10 amps that most cigarette lighters can put out. I love the bright orange cable, you're not likely to forget/lose it. The connections from the wire to the plugs at both ends are solid and should hold up to bending over a long time. The cable has a DC 8020 adapter that is firmly attached to the wire so you can't lose it. It also came with four 15-amp fuses; the fuse is in the cigarette lighter plug if you ever need to replace it. Other than the DC 7090 plug that is too short to fit in my Anker, this is a very well-built power cord. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the product and should function well for a long time. ... show more

Does exactly what it says and does it quite well. It will charge your Jackery from a car or another 12v source but it will only do 100 watts at 12v. That's a limit on many Jackery products, not this product. If you have something above 16 volts, it will pull as much as it can from your source. So if you plug this bad lad into a 24 volt system, the fuses will break, though they are easily replaceable. Just unscrew the bit at the end and the fuses are right there.
