This was my grandchildren's Christmas gift. It arrived quickly. My husband and 2 sons and daughter put it together in a little less than an hour. Directions were clear and easy to follow. All yellow bars were the same length and blue bars were the same but different length from the yellow as outlined in directions. There was no confusion over the parts as it was all laid out in the directions, so we assume the difficulty comes in one pair of hands vs 3-4 hands holding up to 6 bars, so enlist help. It came with 2 allen wrenches and an opened wrench, but my husband used an 13 mm socket to tighten lower ring hardware which made the process faster. He noted that as you go make the hardware finger tight and tighten when its completely assembled. A 13mm deep socket would have made the rest easier if we had it. My grandkids love it! I love the sturdiness and it's lightweight enough for my son-in-law can move it to mow. ... show more

This worked out pretty well for a shelter-in-place play structure since parks and play structures are a bad idea right now. To assemble, it requires at least 2 people, preferably 3 to put together. You can put the bottom section together by yourself but the middle frames require another person to hold the struts. We lost a nut and support was great in mailing one out to us right away. My kids are happily doing monkey bars in the middle of the dome. You may want to buy some pegs to anchor the base down a bit depending on how big the kids are and how many you expect to be on it at onece. Minor caveat is that the bolt threads are exposed on the bottom layer and could scratch kids in bare feet, it would be better to include caps for these to protect feet. ... show more

It took some time to put together, but that was not at all surprising. My kids have loved playing on it and being able to get outside most every day! We had an issue with one of the bars snapping right after putting it together, but only because I was trying to show my son (on his 5th birthday) how to climb on his new jungle gym. While it has a high total weight rating, one bar is definitely not meant to hold an adult. I reached out to customer service to inquire about purchasing a replacement piece, but they sent one free of charge along with a tracking number and fast shipping!     • The bolts go from inside to outside.

We had three people to put this together, and that was not too many. We were short some bolts, had to go to hardware store to buy more. Read thru the instructions first and make sure you understand them. Follow directions carefully. The bolts go from the inside towards the outside, so that the "grips" can screw onto them. Do the bottom row on your driveway; you're going to drop occasional nuts and/or washers. We had a big swingset that we spent thousands of dollars on at our old house. It took days to build with multiple adults and obviously cost much more. When we moved to our new house, I did not want to build it again, so we got this instead. It cost a lot less and I was able to build it in 2-3 hours with only the help of my seven-year-old son. Since it's made from hollow tubes, it's easy to carry. A single person can do it if you stand up on the inside and lift it over your head. I have been looking for fun equipment for the kids since the pandemic, and this caught my attention. It reminds me of my childhood time on the dome jungle gym that I had so much fun on. It's wasn't too difficult to put together, but really does need two people. Once assembled, it's pretty light and easy to move around in the grass but also sturdy enough to not worry about jumping all over it.
