Multiple warped and cracked pieces. Drill holes were not accurate. Missing hardware and wood. Had to make do with extra wood we had. Lots of chips and splintered wood. Very flimsy and not safe for more than 2- 40-50 lbs children. 100% not worth the price. Only positive is, it was fairly easy to assemble besides having to find our own hardware and cut pieces to make it work properly. ... show more

So this has been a great little play structure for my 20 month old.... and it definitely has potential for him to still enjoy it for years to come but here is a list of pros/cons: PROS: - lots of different options for him to play- Slides, swings, chalkboard, play barbecue area, and seating area. -we wanted a structure with less falling areas since our son isn’t even two yet. And this one is perfect since there’s only one point of potential falling and that’s over the ladder area. But then we can just stand there and he is safe to go down the slides. Where as in other structures there’s multiple falling areas and with a fast toddler we couldn’t get around to other areas in time. -The spider swing can hold an adult male weight to at least very lightly swing and the structure seems fine holding it. Our son likes to swing with us sooo.. -my husband was able to build almost the entire structure himself- minus one other person to help put the slides together. It took him about 2 days to finish. The app instructions are great and allow you to zoom in on the video and rotate it around. CONS: -cedar is not a hard wood and most of the pieces are very thin. So what this means is the structure can comfortably hold a toddler or a young kid but even me weighing 110 pounds I feel like I put too much strain on it when I try to go up top with my son to play on the chalkboard. I’ve even gone down some of the slides and it’s sketchy. And don’t even think about sitting on the benches without a lot of wood staining/cracking sounds. -The wavy slide is thin. So OK for a toddler or a small child but any big kids over like 90 pounds will strain it. -the tube slide we call the laundry chute. After it makes its first turn it’s pretty much just a straight controlled fall to the bottom. Some kids may find this fun but my 20-month-old, even being the daredevil that he is, doesn’t like it. Maybe someday he will. -we wish the benches had a table as part of it like some of their other structures. Maybe we will make one. ... show more

I purchased this playground for my 3 granddaughters a couple of months ago. They are absolutely loving it. Hours of play it has just about everything. Construction was a bit tedious but sooooo worth it!!! Highly recommend this if you have small children. My girls are completely satisfied and play on it almost every day. ... show more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS EXTREMELY CHEAP PRODUCT. The wood isn’t real. Not solid at all. $2,000 completely wasted. Had it up for a year and took it down because things just kept falling apart on it. Even had a professional carpenter help put it together and he warned us that it was not a good product. Screws from the swing fell out and hit my child on the top of her head. BAD BAD BAD product!!!!! ... show more

This thing is great. My grand kids love it. The negative reviews are one star worthy. If you have any mechanical ability at all and a light weight drill-driver, this thing goes together just like it’s suppose to. It’s not hard but takes some time. It’s like putting a big puzzle together. I found the manual was better then the app. As far as sturdy, I had a friend helping me and when I wasn’t looking, he climbed up on the deck to do something. He’s about 230 lb. and not a creak or wobble. Now that I’m done it is very sturdy. I would recommend this product and company. ... show more

    • Feels cheap for $2000
Now I’m not a handyman so maybe I don’t know my woods. But I’m about 6 hours into assembling this thing and wood seems too flimsy. I’ve had 3 pieces crack while inserting lag bolts into pre drilled holes. Discovery Backyard customer service said they’d send replacement pieces but their best guess would be that it takes a week. Not cool when you have a half finished playset sitting outside. 1. Shouldn’t deal with prices cracking when paying $2000 and 2. You’d think getting replacement parts out would be a bit more of a rush. It’s been 3 days and still don’t have tracking meaning they must not have been mailed yet. Doubt I’d get them within a week. All in all, I wouldn’t spend $2000 on this again ... show more
